That looks like an additional tier on the BC stand too? Surely not? PT stand is huge.
The Bridgford looks a bit crap keeping its original height though!

It won’t look much like that. They’ve used AI heavily in the creation of the images which would suggest plans and designs are at a very early stage.

Agree, very early stage. Forgive the cynicism but 6 years after the original announcement we appear to be back at the concept drawing stage.
I applaud the ambition and investment but getting impatient for some actual progress now. It would seem very ambitious for work to start this summer when we know we will once again have to wait some environmental report on whether the increased stand height will affect frogs breeding in the Trent etc etc.

Cynicism justified. It's great that the owner is willing to put cash into the development but I don't think we will easily fill 45k all the time, although I understand that could change over time. We really just needed a new main stand as a priority and whatever the reasons, it's taken way too long.

I'll be long dead before this sees the light of day.

Feels like the wrong direction to me, we could be done by now if stuck to original and more sustainable plan. Im not sure we'd get 45k in either but fi we did that would be amazing I must admit.

WHam went from a 30,000 stadium to one more than double that capacity. Gates have increased all over the country over the last 30 years and we are definitely handicapped by limited capacity.

And Brighton on Wednesday night is a lesson to all developers. The stadium is hard to get to, and you get half the crowd leaving the ground when it's 3-4, and you are pushing for an equaliser.
Plus, most of them are glory fans as they are traditionally a tiny club.

If the PT/ main stand is 58metres tall will fans in the BC stand not have the sun in their eyes any more?!

Club has confirmed that the latest set of planning applications has been submitted.
