I suppose they're only communicating things when they actually happen. Fawaz's 'leadership' and decision making was so erratic that he had to keep communicating to justify himself!

And things tend to get quoted back at you later - how about this from Nick Randall first statement to supporters for example
Secondly, we believe that in Mark Warburton we have not just a good fit but the perfect fit for the role of Manager of the Club. He is a man of great courage who turned around the Club's playing style in the heat of a relegation battle. In the course of so doing he has created some truly inspiring periods of play from the team. We can assure you as a supporter and everyone else who cares about Nottingham Forest that Mark will be given the precious commodity of time to turn matters around and to build something special at the Club again. Commodity of time given - 9 months

Exactly - which is why it was daft expecting them to come out in support of Karanka.

He probably meant it at the time but then his greek boss probably gave him a bollocking and asked him what the f**k he was pissing about at.

That’s another point. What’s the point of employing all the ‘football people’ in the background at the club? Do we really believe they’ve had any input in getting rid of Karanka? Ultimately what’s the difference between now and the Fawaz era? Maybe we’re no better off than we were. We have a list of staff all on the payroll, the decisions are coming from one place only

I do hope so because the club could do with a bit of a lift and an announcement of this kind would relieve me of my niggling doubts about Marinakis short/long term plans.

Is it possible that someone can shed a bit more light on this up and coming project?
I realise that certain things cannot be said for various reasons but perhaps someone can drip feed one or two little details without rocking the boat. |
