That’s another point. What’s the point of employing all the ‘football people’ in the background at the club? Do we really believe they’ve had any input in getting rid of Karanka? Ultimately what’s the difference between now and the Fawaz era? Maybe we’re no better off than we were. We have a list of staff all on the payroll, the decisions are coming from one place only

I do hope so because the club could do with a bit of a lift and an announcement of this kind would relieve me of my niggling doubts about Marinakis short/long term plans.

In hindsight I wish I'd never told Twitter about the infrastructure projects. It seemed a reasonable tweet at the time as the chairman had literally just told me about it, but I didn't realise the slow process involved would leave people twitchy for so long.

It is all still on though, with solid progress made behind the scenes.

Can you say a little bit more NG3 about what the plans are?

New Main Stand roof? Complete new Main Stand? New Stadium? Plans for the Academy site? None of those mentioned?

In short, sorry, no, not beyond what's already public domain, a) because I don't have a huge amount of details (I'm not one to pretend #ITK on things I don't know) & b) the few details I do know, beyond public domain, are not for public consumption yet.

Out of loyalty to the club I sometimes have to shut my mouth & know my place, no matter how excited I might be, or desperate to talk about things.

Absolutely NG3. That is perfectly understandable.

Is it possible that someone can shed a bit more light on this up and coming project?

I realise that certain things cannot be said for various reasons but perhaps someone can drip feed one or two little details without rocking the boat.
