I repeat absolute worse case scenario.

Because I am expecting a suspended deduction or a one window transfer ban.

Do we know who much over we where?

Well if we sold Johnson for 30m we would have been within the 61m limit. So anything below 30m is the range.
this is the concern isn't it... in the cold light of day, we breached by upto £30m.  Everton got 6 for £19m or so plus other issues.  I suppose the other issue was around the 6 pts for breach plus 1 point for every £5m over.  They haven't applied that to Everton so fingers crossed, the bar is now set at a max 6 points and hopefully given ours was a temporary breach to get more money, we'll get a much smaller deduction or slap on the wrist.  Given we have so many out of contract in the summer, not sure how a transfer embargo would work in the summer.  One in one out?  Do we have to get approval from EPL before players come on board?

Ive seen elsewhere our breach is approx 15 million but who knows where that figure came from.

Can't help myself from peeking at the Everton forum reaction to this.. they are spitting feathers all 10 haven't been restored..

the most confusing thing I've seen over there is they seem know more about our case than we do. Apparently our breach is worse, there's was only 20million where as ours is double that (and they know this how?).

All I've seen from them is complete financial mismanagement, sweeping monies under the COVID rug, lying to the league about it then crying like little girls for the punishment

No-one knows what our breach is. Evertonian's seem to be grasping at straws.

It’s really is mind-blowing how they think we have breached worse. Even seen someone suggest we would get 12pts deducted. They live in a world of delusion.

Whatever it was it was rectified within months Everton have still not rectified there financial position so surely that will go in our favour considering the commission has considered that Everton's spend has come down.

We will be able to much more strongly estimate our breach soon enough as our accounts are released in March to the public (although they do not release the FFP calcs publicly which is ridiculous). Maybe they will have to release the proper figures as part of the tribunal. Also a chance we choose to publish it within the accounts.

Either way, I agree with the above I can't see that'd we'd have breached by more than them and they had other charges too.

I imagine we'll still need to sell players before June 30th this season as we did still spend a reasonable amount in Aug/Jan overall and wages aren't going down!

This suggests that we'll definitely get a points deduction. It links to a screenshot from the Everton judgement. I can't copy the text on here but in a nutshell it says 'any breach warrants a points deduction and nothing less than a points deduction.'

This is the link to the full details if anyone wanted to read it, would probably take a lot of work to work out how this would relate to us. Plus we don't even know the details of ours yet.

This helps our case in my opinion as our legal team will now know what the commission are basing points deductions upon so we can build a defense based on their thinking!

We won’t get a points deduction IMO.
Ours is a ‘minor breach’ at worst and as you say more likely to be a suspended deduction or business plan etc
