well if we do get 6 points means we are just 2 behind Luton. And if Everton get a second 6 points they will only be one ahead of us.

I don’t see how we get a point deduction, ours was just purely an overspend to try and compete in the premier league
Have we destabilised the premier league that is resounding no.

Cant see us getting a full 6

Is it fair to say now that our absolute worse case scenario is going to be 6 points.
I repeat absolute worse case scenario. Because I am expecting a suspended deduction or a one window transfer ban.

So Everton had 9 grounds that went against them in the original appeal, and 2 of them grounds were overturned in the appeal one of which is Everton didn’t act in good faith to the rules. So if they acted in good faith does that mean we have as we sold Johnson in the spirit of the rules.

yes don't see how they can give us more than 6 now based on the Everton Appeal....
Fingers crossed for a suspended points deduction.
Here we go.....

I’d rather a small deduction this year and battle it out with Luton than a summer transfer ban. It’s al about next season for me, a good window and pushing into the top half. A January transfer window ban maybe, if we can defer it to that, but not the summer. Next season I have much higher hopes than for this.

I’m taking this as good news for us.
A fine, maybe an umbongo and a telling off. The big man won’t settle for any kind of points deductions after today’s news.

Everton got 6 for £19m or so plus other issues. I suppose the other issue was around the 6 pts for breach plus 1 point for every £5m over. They haven't applied that to Everton so fingers crossed, the bar is now set at a max 6 points and hopefully given ours was a temporary breach to get more money, we'll get a much smaller deduction or slap on the wrist. Given we have so many out of contract in the summer, not sure how a transfer embargo would work in the summer. One in one out? Do we have to get approval from EPL before players come on board? |
