What a strange comment.

Why would anyone want to attack an owner who has committed nigh on half a billion pounds into the football club?

What a strange world we live in.

I didn’t expect any different response, and take it whichever way you want to turn it.

However we’ve spent 23 years trying to get back to the top flight and if those actions were to relegate us after the cost investment in getting us there then it would rank as the most stupid ownership decision in living history.

What a horrible and vile comment.

How anyone can post such vitriol against a man who has committed half a billion pounds is just beyond words.

From I personal perspective, I care about the club mate, I won’t shill for the owners, each to their own.

I don’t see my comment as horrible or vile and to respond in such a manner is verging on snowflake territory.

The one thing we have had absolute control on last season is the management of our finances, the club have taken the moral high ground against others so if it does relegate us then it would be incompetence of the highest manner

People who know me personally will tell you that I am no snowflake.

I have lived through wars, been involved in wars, seen my mates killed etc etc.

That makes you anything but a snowflake.

You should be careful what you wish for because if EM decides to sell because of cowardly keyboard warriors then I will have a bet with anyone on here that we turn into a Wigan, Coventry, Portsmouth in no time.

Is that what you want?

Given what you have experienced that you truly know what horrible and vile is, referring to someone as incompetent falls under neither category and if you think as much (given your point of references) then that is snowflake territory.

I want us to be a successful and well run club

For what it's worth I heard a few days ago that we are going to be punished with a points deduction but I guess we'll see tomorrow.

No one gets a points deduction in January so I’m not sure how you’ve been told that?

Not sure that's the case anymore is it? I thought there'd been new rules brought in so punishments were dealt out in the same season now. Either way I've heard points deduction, hopefully not but we haven't got long to wait to find out.

IF we have breached we find out tomorrow, then we can appeal that breach in the 2 weeks after tomorrow, If Upheld, then points deduction would be given in April/May, So I am not sure how you have been told we get a points deduction tomorrow, Even if we do it will be a lot lighter than what Everton

Oh I see what you mean. I just meant we'll see tomorrow if we've breached, not that we'll get the points deduction tomorrow.

Let’s just hope we are fine, and we don’t have to talk about possible points deductions.

I could be wrong here so perhaps Sniffer could correct me if I am but I haven't read anywhere that EM has ever put Oly in trouble with FFP what why do so many on here seem to think he'll ever do that to us especially after spending so much for us to promoted and give us a team which by that way most of were Coopers choices and not EM. All he has ever done for us is get his gold plated cheque book out. My personal opinion is the Forest money men knew exactly what they were doing and we'll be fine unless the they want to make an example of us in which case we have a very good lawyer on speed dial to argue that point.

Agreed. Hopefully lessons taken from flying so close to the sun as well though.

Marinakis is a custodian, nothing more nothing less.

To hail him as a saviour or villain is fantalk

I do find you a little over zealous sniffer when it comes to your defence of Marinakis. If we do indeed face a point deduction, his actions are worthy of vitriol/criticism/shit throwing.

Say it to his face then, he will be there at the next home match.

I like good healthy debate on this forum both positive and negative.

I don't like vitriol and shit throwing.

If someone wants to spew vitriol or throw shit then do it to EM directly if you have the balls.

Don't take the keyboard warrior cowards way out by using this forum.

After spending half a billion pounds I would suggest he'd say he is the complete owner and not just a custodian.

Believe me if he deserves moaning about I'd be the first one in that queue but at the moment he has nothing wrong and has completely backed his manager. If he hadn't people would've moaned about that.

At the end of the day we haven't even been found guilty of anything yet. Talk about Guilty until proven innocent.

I cant understand all these pages of heated arguments on an issue that has not arisen as yet and highly unlikely to, so much bollocks spoken!

Sniff, from one owd Bulwellian to another, dont rise to the bait pal. I know its easier said than done sometimes, but you are a very worthy site owner on here and a lot of us regulars have the utmost respect for you and all of the hard work you put in to keep this site up and running.

Dont let the comments or opinions of a few spoil your love and enjoyment of this site mate. Its not worth it.

We dont all share the same opinions on here, which is a good thing, otherwise it would get a tad boring reading the same stuff from everyone. Provided others opinions are not in any way illegal, libellous, sexist, racist, homophobic or are in any other way discriminatory towards minority groups or individuals, then others can have their opinions. Just because it is an opinion, it doesnt mean it is right, anymore than because you dont agree with an opinion, you need to jump into the defence of something or someone.

I know you well enough now, Ive been on this site since it more or less got going and Ive seen many come and go on here. I also know that if something really grinds your gears enough, you will stay away from the site. Please, dont do that mate.

If you dont agree with someone elses opinion, that is fine, say why you dont agree and then leave it. If you keep going back at them, they will keep coming back at you. Just let things go sometimes, they will soon fizzle out.

Ive said this as a mate. I'm not having a go. Honest!!
