I think part of the planning permission was that no work can commence until the new boat club premisies have been built and handed over to the boat club.

So?
It's the football ground that is the heart and soul of the area and the football ground that is the big money maker for all the business's around etc. What exactly does the boat club contribute? I am not saying that it shouldn't exist but why can't it move to another location like Holme Pierrepont or something. It's like a mosquito on an elephants back.

Well it says that Forest and the boat club have reached an agreement for the boat club to temporarily move so hopefully they will stick to that agreement and work will start on time.

I can understand peoples frustration with the boat club it's a very long river and they are not exactly short of other locations to move to but they also have the right to fight to stay in their present premises so I can see both sides of the argument.

They just seem to be a bit of a thorn in our side. Hope we can go ahead and start at the end of this season we don't want any more delays.

I heard again at the ground yesterday that the stadium development will not be starting at the end of the season which is a massive shame.

Heard from whom? It'd be nice to have some kind of official update from the club at some point.
