Not a chance. Even before Yates got injured. We need at least two to replace Garner and Zinckernagel and ideally more than that.

A month only means 2 games so not the end of the world. Disruption to his pre-season, also based on our recent injuries A month is really only two weeks!

Huge blow just reinforces my point that Colback is going to be crucial this season - in his proper position.

2 games minimum. Disrupted preseason can sometimes be alot more damaging than us laymen realise.

To my mind he has missed two key passes against sheff wed and again similar yesterday when we had overloads in good positions. Looking at other teams that have lots of the ball then more creative players than Yates miss those passes a couple of times a game but it doesn’t get highlighted as much.
We do need more balance in midfield though

Just to repeat what I have said consistently before.

Yates will play in the top division for a good number of years, hopefully it will be with us.

His attitude and commitment to improving his game is total and will pay dividends more and more. He has been very good since restart, but will continue to improve. If McGugan had his attitude he could have gone to the top.

I would say the same whether he came through the academy or not.

In honour of Widdows return.....I told you so.

Would just like to give a shout out to Yatesy for his performance last night I thought he was outstanding. There seems to be the making of an understanding with Freuler developing too.

Can't leave Ryan out of this team on that showing.
Panic on the streets of Croydon, Derby, Sheffield, Leicestershire.

Prime gave him Man of the Match.

Yeh he was very good.
Does a heck of a lot of the stuff that isn’t always credited by supporters.
Wins headers, wins second balls, duels and is very difficult to play against, whilst also being a really good leader.

He gives the team everything we didn’t do in the first half against Leicester.

He gives the team a platfrom

Yates, Freuler and Mangala is the three I think we need to move forward with

Yes excellent from Yates, he will have a couple of black eyes for his efforts this morning.

Genuine question because I honestly do not see it, what does Freuler give us that Colback doesn’t?

Obrien is better than freuler and colback
Come on you mighty Reds

I don't think Frueler and O'Brien are the same type of player so you can't compare them.
One also has 48 international caps, played at Nations Cup Finals, Euro Cup Finals and will be at World Cup Finals next month, the other hasn't.
