Super Cooper is at the ground today if that means anything? New contract announced maybe?

I do wonder how much we have had to spend on the PT stand, gantry, bigger press box, new floodlights etc only to inevitably rip it up as soon as we get planning permission.

Yeah true. We might get away with Flood lights I guess but the rest. Down it goes

Been some updates to the planning application. Highways Agency now have no objections. However cost up to £94.4m from £80m.

900 Forest fans (and many of our most vocal fans) are having their season tickets moved despite having already renewed them.

Yep and we'll have the issue again where Lower Bridgeford is the loudest stand again with best acoustics.

A Block sounds great when you're in it but outside of it the sound doesn't travel that far. Hope this is factored into the new stand

I somehow can't see the new stand being able to offer better accoustics than the Bridgford End wassy, due to the height of the roof. I don't understand why the club cannot look at a way of putting away fans in the Clough stand, or would it cause problems with the corporate box owners?

Other clubs have managed to do it, it is just a shame we cannot do it.

The Bridgford End is by far the best stand for singing in and it is a worry we may lose some of our incredible noise when getting behind the team now!

The Bridgford lower is an utterly crap view though and as away tickets are limited to £30, there's no way the club can justify their proposed £40, £50 & £60 match ticket prices if the away fans are paying less for a better view elsewhere.

Personally  Im hoping A block all relocate to end block of Upper BC when work finally starts on PT stand. Great view, great acoustics (when the Upper BC actually do join in) and looking down on away fans for the banter value.

Needs the whole ground rocking like we were after Sheff U equalised on aggregate in 2nd leg. Genuinely, the loudest I have ever heard the City Ground sing during a game in my almost 50 years.

I’m glad d they’ve updated numbers Cus of prem hopefully less match days and the fact not all of them will be Saturday might help quieten some objectors.

The club have agreed to £1.6mil in s106 payments to improve various things around the general vicinity though wouldn’t cough up another £150k to fully fund a crossing at the cattle market junction with london road with is a shame.

Though we can’t start any work until we’ve done or Via have done certain improvements.

I'd love to know what the cycle access detail is. I park at the racecourse and bike in across LB bridge. It's a bit hairy at the best of times but still safer than trent bridge.

The long, complicated story of #NFFC’s plans to redevelop City Ground might be getting a happy ending.

Rushcliffe Borough Council is recommending the plans are accepted at a July 28 meeting.

Wrote this in May about the club’s need for a bigger stadium
