Hopefully we might be in the premier league

If I took the stick he took at one extended point, then got the plaudits he is now getting at work. I'd be off in a shot at 1st sign of a better offer. (Except if I was working at NFFC of course). 

I still maintain though that it was a small minority of very "vocal," keyboard warriors. Apart from when whole ground was toxic at start of season- then they all copped it.

Hopefully Ryan is feeling the love across the board now.

There's a difference between criticism or discussion on a forum and actively booing his appearance on the field. 

Personally, I felt he had too many weaknesses and had a lot to coach out of him. I think there were plenty of times where he struggled to hold down a place in the team and the debate over whether he played was fair.

He was/is a frustrating player that looks like he really could be a top player and his heading ability had also been wasted until recently. How often have we all said how many headed goals he could/should have scored in the last few years.

He's clearly stepped up a level this year (as have all really under Cooper) and has cut down on some of the most frustrating aspects of his game. If he continues in that manner then he will be class for us in the next few years.

To summarise then are you admitting you were wrong? Or are you Boris?

I think players like yates can take a bit longer to reach maturity as a player but that every manager over the last four years has felt it necessary to include him has shown his willingness. 

I've never understood the criticism of yates. From what i've seen he's always given his all and gave a damn. But just like it took worrall some time to mature, then Yates is similar. 

I would say that while johnson's been getting all the media plaudits, i would say Yates has probably been the best player during our FA cup run and just like so many of this squad, has gone from strength to strength under cooper. 

And i would say that regardless of what happens this season in terms of promotion or summer sales, if we keep hold of cooper then we will go up.

Not every young player gets better though. 

He had/has some weaknesses that personally I felt meant he shouldn't be in the team at the time. That's different to suggesting he would never make it or could never make it.

There are more camps that just Yates is good, Yates is bad. 

To.summarise he wasn't good enough, he is now, he could get even better. That OK?

Again... Mr Yates... Mr Forest. Best player on the pitch and another quality goal. Ryan should be the first name on the team sheet every week. He has worked so hard to get where he is now and will only get better.

I've always been a Yates fan, ever since I saw him take the field for the first time in a Forest shirt while on pre-season in Spain, I can't remember which manager.
I never thought he'd ever have that in his locker.
