Arter is the other one. I couldn't for the life of me get why we went for both Colback and Arter, they could never work together but I thought Arter would have the better ability in link up play. He has obviously fallen put big tome behind the scenes same way Ioannou did, what a waste of money.
Someone in the club really needs to arbitrate the Arter situation. It's OK for the manager to take a dislike to him, that happens all the time in football, but for a £6m investment (or whatever it is) to be thrown on the scrap heap is not good business.
I understand that in the past at Oly EM has loaned out players who they value when the coach doesn't fancy them. We need to be doing similar, even if we continue to pay the majority of his wages. He's no good sitting on his arse rotting away.
We got Arter for free. Granted, his wages are massive. But the rumours around him costing a few million are false. Bournemouth identified he was a dead weight and wanted rid of him.
Yes those rumours were false but we paid up a portion of his contract with Fulham which was probably over 500K. He is on a 3 year contract which will cost us over £3M.
Freeman is on around 35k/ week, even if we only paid around half you are looking at nearly £1M, we probably paid a loan fee too.
Ioannou cost us 500k fee down the toilet plus wages.
So those 3 have cost us over £5M or a third of the Matty Cash fee or about what we would get by selling Brennan whichever way you want to spin it

All the more reason to get Arter playing again. At least if CH does leave it'll give Arter another opportunity. Probably not at our club but away from us with our losses cut a little.

James Garner has been called up to the England U21 squad and Alex Mighten to the U20s.
Oh, and Harry Arter to the ROI full international squad. Doesn't say much for their strength in depth!

Brennan Johnson starts for Wales in their match against Finland tonight. Think that's his first start for them.

He played up front in a 352 (according to flashscores) and also won a penalty (which was missed by Harry Wilson).
Fits with the Johnson to be a support striker theory.

England's U21 game vs. Romania on Friday has been called off due to two cases of COVID in the England camp.
Hopefully neither is Garner!

Any news on the new stand and the other development projects? I understood that a decision was due by 31st August by the planning authority?

Has anyone seen Stuart Pearce in the new Stranglers video for This Song?
He's pretty good in it, maybe an acting career is on the horizon.
Good song too.

Decent song and Psycho plays his part really well. I liked that!

Forest have acquired Vangelis Perperidis to the recruitment analyst team. Was previously at Coventry who did some good business. So hopefully a positive addition.
Hard to not find it slightly amusing that the two professional analysts we've acquired recently though are both Greek :p

I thought you would have to have a dig.
Perhaps they are both very good at their jobs.
Not sure what their nationality has got to do with it.
