This feels like throwing a lit match into a pool of petrol and also hard to say too much given I wasn't there, however can I just say I didn't agree with booing the team off at half time.

0-0, Back, Gabriel, Johnson, Mighten just starting out their pro careers, Fornah on the bench to come on, academy grad Yates and famously confidence based player Figs on the pitch. Do we really think booing them when they're not even losing, in fact a relatively even first half overall, is going to be inspiring? Booing might work on a bunch of seasoned pros but not a bunch of kids. Also, to prospective players looking on (Garner etc), not exactly the environment you want to come back to.

You know the point of the game that went well, when the crowd got into it, got fired up and we scored.

I know everyone will kick off and say we've got a right to boo etc etc. Fine but you can't claim that is going to have a positive impact on the team. Given there's little fans can do to help, not booing feels like one thing we could do. 

Boo when you're 4-0 down at half time sure, not 0-0 with a bunch of kids on the field.

Can I ask why it mattered whether I was at the game or not? I watched it on the website and could hear everything.

Can I add writing off players after 3.5 games to the list of complaints about Forest fans? How is anyone possibly meant to flourish if they are going to be written off instantly.

Were people just expecting him to walk into the team and be a world beater? He's going to have good and bad patches, he didn't even play most of the game against Stoke! (He created our only decent chance but lets gloss over that shitshow)

I think it applies to all our young players.  We have to give them room to fluctuate in form.  They shouldn't be leading the line on their own.

We've perhaps missed Worrall's leadership too at the back.

You need the 'Richard Scimeca, Huckerbys etc around them.

If we just bolstered the striker and LB positions it would make a significant different to the team.

But we do need more than a couple of players.

Some may not want to hear it, but to have the young guns in there with Fin, Yates, Mighten, Gabriel in there battling away is showing we're not far away in terms of knitting the Academy, u23s and 1st team together with 12 Academy products now in the squad, team or the bench.

But they need some quality, mature (25-ish) heads around them to help do the heavy lifting.  All the games so far have been close.  I personally didn't think Stoke looked like scoring.  Lots of toothless pressure I thought.  But they had their moment of quality and took it.  Like Bournemouth and Coventry did.

Fin will do ok at RB.  But we could do with somebody more battle hardened at LB to balance that out.
