Ha yeah given everyone wanting Sabri gone last year too. 

I wish he had've brought Carv on for Colback then people would've seen how ineffective that would've been as an option

I dont think opinion on here or other forums is necessarily a valid temperature check or what has got previous managers sacked. However when the mood at home games turns things usually go from bad to worse. Poor old CH has only had 2 games at the CG, even Mclaren got longer than that before we turned on him.

Disrespectful in the extreme.  Didn't help matters.  And it won't.

With patience like that.  If Hughton resigns or is given the sack, Forest will get relegated with things as they are at the moment.

Changing the deck chairs won't change anything.  History will repeat.

This feels like throwing a lit match into a pool of petrol and also hard to say too much given I wasn't there, however can I just say I didn't agree with booing the team off at half time.

0-0, Back, Gabriel, Johnson, Mighten just starting out their pro careers, Fornah on the bench to come on, academy grad Yates and famously confidence based player Figs on the pitch. Do we really think booing them when they're not even losing, in fact a relatively even first half overall, is going to be inspiring? Booing might work on a bunch of seasoned pros but not a bunch of kids. Also, to prospective players looking on (Garner etc), not exactly the environment you want to come back to.

You know the point of the game that went well, when the crowd got into it, got fired up and we scored.

I know everyone will kick off and say we've got a right to boo etc etc. Fine but you can't claim that is going to have a positive impact on the team. Given there's little fans can do to help, not booing feels like one thing we could do. 

Boo when you're 4-0 down at half time sure, not 0-0 with a bunch of kids on the field.

The crowd was really good at start of both home matches and away at Coventry. Very excited, pumped and cheering on players.

How did they respond?

I don't condone the booing (and agree it is counterproductive to the players) but at least Dane Murphy will now understand that Forest is not a club like Barnsley. He needs to get his finger out and give his manager something to work with. He's the owner of this start to the season.

And if we lose the next two games, especially the second, last night will feel like a walk in the park.

We've lost 4 left backs and not replaced any of them.  Crap recruitment.

Pretty well in the first half of both games from what I remember.

Although it wasn't nice to hear (No, I wasn't at the game but streamed it), I actually think the booing was directed more at Hughton, rather than the players TBH. When the fans start singing the previous managers name, then you know you've got problems. Chanting 'you don't know what youre doing' when he pulled Mighten off for Carvalho, kind of tells me the fans weren't happy with Hughton, as opposed to the likes of Back, Mighten, Johnson, Zinckernagel etc

It's just a shame that boo's can't be deflected from the side to the main target of a fans derision.

Spot on and agreed, I was at the game and my own personal opinion was that "the fans" we're  letting Hughton know that they were not happy with him, I didn't boo anyone but I was far from happy with the manager and I'll admit that I was far from happy with certain players that were playing last night.

Yeah I agree, I'm sure they were booing the manager. My point was an a young player, or any player, how are you going to be able to differentiate between that. Even if you could, it's not exactly going to inspire a rousing second half performance.
