I suspect so.  It's about attitude, leadership.  And he's got it in buckets.

I'll tell you what, if I was our top scorer (Taylor) I'd be slapping in a transfer request not getting a game ahead of Grabban at the moment.

Maybe that’s what they want.....

Maybe but how about giving him some game time with the new players we now have in the team. How many times has Taylor been given a chance with Garner, Krovinovic and Knockaert in the team.

And yet he is still our top scorer.

Have to trust in Hughton.

He seems to have got most calls correct. 

Clearly is t impressing him enough at the minute.

Hughton's an honest sort of manager.  If we'd swooped earlier this season would be very different.

I find his patient methodology refreshing.  For an impatient club like Forest.  Ironic.  If they give him the time he'll do it.  He's had very little time so far in the grand scheme of things and we can see tantalising glimpses of the team we can be.

If any one was in doubt about Hughton's tactical chops.  The performance vs Swansea where their football was nullified and they were rattled by Forest.  Performance of the season.

As for the Striker situation.  Hughton hasn't really had a full Summer window yet.  Nor a pre-season to really whip the boys into shape.

We could do with a win v Blackburn though.

I do trust CH Reds73 but I can still question him, I am delighted with CH actually, he's the best thing that has happened to NFFC for a long time.

I just can't get my head around how Grabban gets in the team on the form he's displayed in front of goal so far this season.

As for Grabban.  He didn't have the best service v Swansea.  He seems to link well with Ameobi.  (Knee problem?)

And tellingly no Bong.  Who has critics.  But I thought the team balance with Bong and Ameobi was better.  And the crossing better.

Hughton's building team confidence.  Putting Grabban behind Tyler is probably not a good move.  And also he stuck with Grabban for the Captainship.  As stripping him of it would also not be a good move either.  Clearly, Grabban had his head turned (with the previous muted move...) and keeping him 'happy' until the end of the season is a priority.  He's still quality and will smile when he scores.

He's scored '20' last time around.  The service this season hasn't been terrific to him.  Frustrating.  But it's not just down to him despite his languid style.

Anybody who has had a bad hip...that will will probably dog him.  I doubt he's 100%.  

Feed him.  He'll score.

Tyler might feel hard done to given that beauty he scored most clinically.  If we didn't have Grabban he'd probably start.  Strike politics, eh?

Maybe. But he seemed knackered. He didn't take the chance. Rib' didn't head the ball. Krov' didn't stay with his man. Christie didn't stop the cross.

Just the way our luck is. But we have played against a very good Swansea and Bournemouth side(s) and we've made them both look reasonably ineffective.

If Grabban is tired. Hughton will probably rest him v Blackburn. With Murray to start.

It's worth remembering Billy's requirement for the Championship was 6 strikers. We're shuffling a very thin pack up front.

I have seen nothing from Taylor to suggest he merits getting the nod above Grabban other than Grabban has seemingly lost his goalscoring touch but unconvinced Taylor would do any better, constantly looks out of position to me. Grabban’s off the ball work remains very good though which is why I would stick with him. I admit to screaming at him for the 3vs 1 though.
