I am just disappointed that when EM took over and these allegations came to light the press were all over it like a rash.

Now EM has had his name cleared and nobody mentions it. I think you can understand my disappointment?

If EM had been found guilty a certain Athletic journalist would have relished it and you can guarantee there would have been a full page spread about it.

Because it would have been newsworthy

The fact that he's not guilty is newsworthy to hundreds of thousands of Forest fans yet no Forest related journalist mentioned it apart from a small bit in the post.

Didn't Larry Lloyd say after the huge turn out after European Cup win bus tour...

"I didn't realise there were that many Forest fans...I wish they'd come and see us play on a Saturday."

Your statement wasn’t to the number of Forest fans.

It’s to the number of fans that would deem it newsworthy.

Of this season?  Certainly.

But I Don't think even Marinakis knows what the point of this season is.

Perhaps he can tell us?

We're more concerned with the Summer disaster and Forest staving off relegation to be fair.

But...yeah...if he'd been convicted the balloon would have gone up.

Fans seem more concerned that we didn't blitz Barnsley.

What type of Forest fan wouldn't find an article on their owner to be newsworthy?

Most when it says nothing to see here.

Take a look at the number of comments on this thread, and this is a largely partisan place when it comes to EM

So people only want to write and read articles when it's something bad and negative about the club.

Well no wonder then that some are pissed off with certain journalists. If they (the journalists) cover Forest then they should write both the good and the bad.
