Yes I understand that SM.

I am just disappointed that when EM took over and these allegations came to light the press were all over it like a rash.

Now EM has had his name cleared and nobody mentions it. I think you can understand my disappointment?

Yes I get that but that is media for you. Good news is rarely mentioned, how often for example do you hear the government getting any credit for anything positive, whether that is Tory or Labour or anyone else.
The Athletic is more of a magazine than a news outlet anyway but yes Im sure had EM been found guilty they would have put together a huge feature article on corruption at Forest. Delighted it has come to nothing and hopefully media attention will continue to focus on the unfolding mess along the A52.

Yeah tbf to The Athletic they don't focus much on breaking news. There may also be legal implications to what they can print about the story. I suspect Tails will reference it next time he released an article. Tends to do a few a week

The press in the U.K. And the USA have shown themselves up for what they are in the last year.

They're not our friends.

I'm aware of some of the UK press not being 100% supportive of EM, but is this happening in the USA too?

If EM had been found guilty a certain Athletic journalist would have relished it and you can guarantee there would have been a full page spread about it.

Seriously?  Regardless of political persuasion the amount grand larceny over 'the truth' defies credulity.

The US press have been absolutely shocking over the last 4 years.

They don't hide it.  Their complicit omission shows who they serve.

A minority of rich people own the US press.

The censorship net is closing in real quick for any one who is 'off' narrative.  Press or big tech.

It's Avery rich club and we're not in it.

Hubris.  It isn't old school instigative journalism.

I thought you were talking about the press in the UK and USA re: EM and Forest. But you aren't. So let's leave that there.

Fully agree with this. WTF has the USA press got to do with EM?

Because it would have been newsworthy
