No one has said that Forest have been exclusively wronged by bad decisions. And dismissing potential bias as incompetence is as flaky as claiming as fact that that Forest are being deliberately targeted. None of us bar Atwell know what was in his head when rejecting three valid penalty calls. But conflict of interest protections exist throughout organisational cultures precisely in order that the potential for decisions deriving from self interest are obviated. The PGMOL/Webb wilfully discarded conflict of interest protections in this case. They are also avoiding transparency around Atwell's decisions, creating smoke and mirrors around the extent to which Forest objected prior to the game, and are benefitting from a media establishment clamour that may well yet see Forest demonstrably punished for speaking up. None of this smells good, and incompetence alone does not explain the attempted cover up.

I bet Huddersfield Towns fans are having a chuckle about the years of some of ours about refereeing decisions in big matches. There wasn’t conspiracy then to get us back into the premier league and there isn’t one now to take us down. There are a lot of rubbish officials. Other teams like Wolves have probably been the victim of worst howlers than us this season

I have never seen you say anything positive about Forest?

If we get relegated it isn’t Howard Webbs fault

He would have played his part as would the 2 managers, the players and owner.

Lets not pretend we haven't lost points because of some refereeing decisions because that would be telling lies.

Part of it would be Webbs fault but lets be man enough to say that the managers, players and owner would be at fault too.

Nobody even man enough to admit it that along with our owner, 2 managers and players that the refs and VAR will have played a roll if we end up gong down.

Come on, I have admitted that our owner would be partly responsible.

Its cost us some points for sure, think Bournemouth for example likely cost us all 3, But I don’t think it has cost us as many points as some are making out. We have had some terrible decisions but some have gone our way too. For example I believe we have faced 10 men in 6 games but only gone on to win one of them. Its a mess of our own creation.

I haven’t got the direct quotes but Im pretty sure Pep has come out with some damning comments of his own about refs through the years. But this will be the narrative, ManCity love referees who have a difficult job, its just evil whinging Forest who are complaining.
