Crap Referees

We need a thread!

Rob Jones has now mugged us off twice this season.

Absolute disgrace of an official.

VAR needs to get ex players involved, people who have actually played and understand the game. It just cannot continue in it's present vain.

I don't feel any better about it today. I am raging. That wanker. I swear if I'd have seen him after the game he'd have copped one. Absolute cheating wanker.

He needs investigating for that. Did someone profit from that embarrassing officiating financially? Seriously something is way off here. I just can't accept that was a bad day at the office for him.

I could walk away from football. I just have no time for that.

I’ve always supported VAR, I think it’s the human error behind it that’s at fault usually, and there is a real problem with officiating in this country, lack of numbers lack of training. I read somewhere recently can’t remember where but the uk is short of a few 1000 refs.
But yesterday VAR itself was at fault, I mean how can it not tell if it’s in the box or not, it’s literally its job.

As for the sending off, seeing it in real time again and trying to take emotion out of it , I can sort of see why he gave it ( tin hat on)

Give over mate. You can't be defending that surely?

Was you at the game? I was in Upper Bridgford and everyone around me could see it was a perfect challenge. No mate. Not having that at all.

He is a cheating c**t. For 45 mins he was giving us absolutely nothing. It was embarrassing.

No I wasn’t there and if you say it was that obvious then I will take your word for it and in fairness the response on social media when it happened seemed to suggest my opinion is wrong.
It’s just on the video I saw it didn’t seem that clear cut that it was bad decision, it seem like he caught him.
But again I wasn’t there.

Smith fouled Boly!! He should get a retrospective ban for rolling around getting another professional sent off.

I'm just angry mate this morning. Not having a go. It was clear as day. I was in total shock.

As for the hand ball. I was right next to that and momentarily that ball hit is hand inside the box. It happened that fast. But this why VAR is here. To make the right call.. and they didn't.

It was one bad decision after the other and it didn't get much better in the second half.

He didn't want to give us anything. I'd go as far to say the smug twat was enjoying it all.

Uncomfortable fact.

We have had more red cards go in our favour than against us this season. 4 in our favour.

We have failed to score a goal against 10 men in open play in all 4 of those games.

Is this clear enough for you?

My ST is Lower Bridgford in the corner next to A block. I had a perfect view of the tackle - 100% it was the perfect tackle, no doubt what-so-ever. There is something seriously wrong with the game. As for the handball, there is no need for VAR to get involved - the ref should have given it and, if needs be, VAR can intervene (there was no need as it is clearly in the box and a penalty).

What amazes me is that some of the reporting on the game that i have read seems to just brush over BOTH incidents! Were these people actually at the game?????

I think it is time for Nuno to.develop a siege mentality - us against the world! Screw them! Still seething.

Were they justifiable reds? If they were I'm not seeing the relevance. Not meaning to be arsy about it.

Talking about fairness in the game.

There's no bringing any balance to this today. I can't believe what I witnessed yesterday.

No that’s fair enough mate I’d always take someone’s view that was there.

I’m angry too, probably the most angry I’ve been this season (and that’s saying something) that’s why I’m on here so I can rant! It’s cathartic.

I just think yesterday is the day that relegated us, really needed a result yesterday and we almost got one.
