Yeah your right, Sabri shouldn’t have signed him in first place.
So Sabri should not have signed a good few of them then
Colback on a free is a no brainer for ANY club in The Championship surely?
I don’t agree with the sheer number of signings made by the club this summer but I find it hard to disagree with signing them as individuals. They, on the most part, are upgrades. The only ones i am against are Fred, Blackett and the goalie whilst also not wanting to see another dcm enter the club
However, the problem at the moment is the manager not the players. Most of our signings would have been snapped up by any other club.
In your opinion. I think that's an over simplification, and clearly he can not escape some criticism.
I think we have signed too many players. We will see at the end of the season which ones haven't been playing.
Unless the plan is to have a big clear out, although leaving it late means I doubt we'll get good fees.

Tails latest Athletic headline: "Forest need to shift the bomb squad..." he's definitely got that from us. Hi Paul :D

His articles are no better than the local rag he used to work for - and, of late, they’re getting progressively more predictable.
If your reading Paul - try telling us ( just once ) something interesting or that we didn’t already know.
I’ve elected not to renew my Athletic membership on the back of such bland articles.

I was thinking that his recent articles suggest there is a big media blackout since lockdown or our press department is still on furlough. His only quoted insights are from the pressers -
Percy and Danny Taylor are still the preferred go to for leaks. Although Danny Taylor’s bleak outlook on transfers in august went completely the other way!!!
I’m thinking of cancelling the subscription too. The latest article anyone on here could have written - the only new info was that Gaz Brazil is in charge of keeping the bomb squad fit and training due to the duty of care to the player. Incidentally, Steve hodge has done this at a number of clubs including QPR and Wolves...

Pretty similar style to sabri really
Sabri tried to play from the back. He has brought centre backs in who can do that. Houghton plays like O Neil and Megson. Get the ball forward early. Nothing like the same style. Not sure about that, Dunk thrived under Houghton, and he is one of the best footballing CB’s around

He is a good player but I wouldn't describe Dunk has a footballing centre back. Hughton played Dunk and Duffy who are two no nonsense head it and clear it centre backs. Potter has brought into the team Ben White and Adam Webster who are footballing centre backs.

That is not correct. He very much likes to play like Sabri hos done. Comfortable defending in a low block and counter attack when the opportunity comes. At least that is what he did in the Premier League.
Hughton is known for his direct style. He plays 4 4 2. Early Balls down the channels to turn the centre backs. Karanka and Sabri were defensive managers but did try to play out from the back.
