He has had success at this level recently. He can get teams promoted. He knows the league.

Good professional appointment in my opinion. Hopefully can do well with this squad

Sabri tried to play from the back. He has brought centre backs in who can do that. Houghton plays like O Neil and Megson. Get the ball forward early. Nothing like the same style.

His record in the EFL is as good as it gets; his record in the PL not so good.

He has managed two promotions and two play offs in four attempts with his teams scoring 87, 78, 74 and 72 goals respectively; that compares with the top scorers last season scoring 77,77 and 80.
