We’re only 3 games in for goodness sake,  Whoever takes over from Sabri ( his days are clearly numbered sadly) will have inherited one of the best squads in the league.

Talk about biting off the hand that feeds you.  The man is bankrolling us with very little income, show some common sense.

Well said Redgirl. Some sense at last.

I dont question the commitment of the owner but I do question priorities.

We have won 3 of the last 19. If this happened at olympiacos the manager would have been sacked... well before now. Why is it different  for us? I am grateful for the work done by the ownership off the pitch and the funding of the signings... but it doesnt it right that we are in our current state and sabri gets to continue...

I could understand if it were just the 4 games this season.... but look at our form since january.

Either em needs to pull the trigger or someone working at the club should be being told to.

I’ve defended the ownership as much as anyone Sniff, but you have to admit, swapping an attacking midfielder in Silva - a position we’re not well covered in, for a defensive one in Cafu - a position we’ve already got loads of players in, does seem an odd move.

I’m not sure Sabri would’ve wanted that. Hopefully we’ll being in another attacking midfielder, as well as a winger, before the end of the window.

I cannot see any connection with Olympiakos and The Championship.

It's absolutely black and white, worlds apart. Olympiakos are easily the biggest team in Greece and are expected to win every single game that they play. You can't compare the two clubs or the two leagues and how the clubs and leagues work.

Not saying everything is perfect SR, it never is. However in the grand scheme of things if that is all that we have to grumble about above (if it happens) then I can certainly live with that.

Sacking managers has been a massive failure for Nottingham Forest. It has weakened us leaving the club with drained resources, unbalanced squads, and increasingly lower league position. EM appointed Sabri last summer just before the season started. We finished 7th our highest position for 7 years. After lockdown the season didn't finish as we had hoped but they were unusual circumstances e.g. no crowds, lost of games in a short space of time. Consensus was we had a weaker squad than our rivals and over relied upon a few individuals who got injured or fatigued e.g. Lolley, Grabban. We have massively strengthened the squad but surely we need to give it some time to gel. Can you not see we are in desperate need if stability after the Fawaz years. In my opinion EM has been a massive improvement. I too don't get the criticism.

Twitter?

Most of them on there don't have a brain cell between them. Most of them believe everything they read and 95% of it is just made up bullshit.

All I'm saying is I noticed a lot of it last night, not saying I agree and Twitter may be full of overreaction but it's also one of the biggest ways to gauge what supporters are thinking while we aren't allowed in the stadium.

Suggesting we’ll always be the poor relations - at least whilst we’re in the Championship - Sniff?
Feels like it at times.
