Didnt EM once sack an Oly manager at the begining of a season after he failed to get the team through a champions league qualy tie?

It is but there are some things you can't see any manager coming back from no matter how much you want stability. This was bad... really bad and it'll hang over Lamouchi now for a good while, I don't see him shaking it off.

I believe so yes.

Leeds will have felt last year how we feel now. They blew their chance then and came back. I hope we can show similar resolve, dig deep, go again and be better for this experience.

Or we could capitulate, and Sack Sabri.

Lamouchi ?: “I don’t have any regrets, but we have made mistakes. What’s happened tonight, what’s happened to the end of the season, to be out of the play-offs - it’s unacceptable.” #NFFC

Hes made mistakes for sure. Wigan  away, Milwall away, Barnsley away, Charlton home.

Not sure what happened is comparable. We had 20 minutes to a) keep things level and B) ensure if we did concede we did not see a swing 6 goals.

It was pretty incredible what happened and it cannot be put down to bad luck.

How do you rebound from this?

Leeds won the away first leg of their play off semi last year and went a goal up at home in the 2nd leg. They basically had a cigar on in the tie. Then they threw away. Just like we did tonight. It was just as much as tragic and wasteful for them as what tonight has been for us.

I guess. And I guess we did the same all those years ago at Yeovil under Calderwood. Got promotion the following year

The lack of gap between seasons will not help us

Bigger gap than getting stuffed in the play offs.
