I'm not sure. He's got player sale profits at £14.7m, £15.1m and £10.6m for 2016/7 - 2018/9. In that time we sold Burke (£13m ish?), Assombalonga (£15m), Brereton (£7m) so what he's said doesn't seem too far wrong.

The guy's a lecturer on football finance so I'd like to think he knows his numbers.

See I dont understand these things, profit and sustainability wise we dont look too bad. Rolling 3 year loss is only around £10M, So playing side isnt a huge issue, more the bigger picture of how much the owners are willing to invest (and potentially lose) in the club. The fact they are building a new stand suggests we should have few concerns on that side

For anyone wondering about Forest's #FFP status, I estimate they have no problems in being within the 3 year rolling loss limit of £39 million mainly due to player sales profits covering the day to day losses. #NFFC


If we don't go up that'll be Cash, Worrall, Lolley and Brice gone. No worries about falling foul of ffp but it'll be a sad day if we cash in that lot.

Yeah the numbers are correct, it's just that he's included them in the profit and loss numbers too. I think he's probably just showing it in a different way to the other guy.

Dreadful but not particularly remarkable when compared to our peers. If we are bang on the line with FFP then that indicates we're in control of the finances. If the owner chooses to lose money thats his look out and im not concerned if he does. What matters to me is what i see on the pitch and coming in maxed out in ffp terms means they've done eveything they can, rather than having to firefight by selling a stadium or other derby dodges.

These accounts will not include sales this season so we've got Osborn, Appiah, soudani compared to small fees paid out. It does show we need to continually bring in around 10m player sales to support our natural losses. I would expect one player to go in summer, maybe someone will pay us 10m for carvalho...

I'm sure were fine, look worse than they actually are at present. As mentioned we have incoming from sales.

Forgot they even existed, was Tach last Jan or summer? The point is we need around 10m of player sales a year to meet FFP based on our current wage bill/income/amortisation. However by the looks of the above and given we spent very little this season, we might have a bit more leeway.
