Press reset and give us the rules we had in '94. Nothing was wrong back then. Great mix of freedom, excitement, discipline & rough & tumble.

Between the popularization of fanny aspects like diving & wags, and constant Sky Sports-esq "glam" the game's become far less likeable & enjoyable.

Don’t get me started Alf!
All these so called football fans that the media are trying to appeal to.
And bloody female pundits!!!  :@

I'll bite. What's the issue you see with having female pundits?

Would you like 3 to replace Sutton, Laws and Hodge?

Yes, if they were more insightful and able to connect with an audience. Who wouldn't?

Name me 3 who could replace them.
Anyone with the same level of experience and insight.
Insight comes from experience IMO.
All 3 have played at the highest level for one of the best managers the game has seen.

Those three are on local radio as they have a strong connection to the team, and so they should be. No issue here for me.

However, that's not the same thing as the comment "And bloody female pundits!!!".

For my money, Sam Kerr, Alex Morgan and Steph Houghton are all excellent when interviewed. Pundits need the ability to communicate their ideas; having played football at the highest level isn't enough in itself -- Mark Lawrenson? Ian Wright? David Seamen? Bryan Robson? Gender shouldn't be the determining factor here.
