At this moment in time it's for the PL only. So IF we should get to the PL the summer transfer window will close on 1st September at 5pm. Before it used to close on the day before the new season began.

So if for example the new PL season starts in the middle of August then the transfer window will be open for two weeks more than what it used to be.

I am sure that is what I said?  The start of this season is in the past.  :P

What a **** faff. VAR, windows etc. they're killing the game with their constant messing about.

Press reset and give us the rules we had in '94. Nothing was wrong back then. Great mix of freedom, excitement, discipline & rough & tumble.

Between the popularization of fanny aspects like diving & wags, and constant Sky Sports-esq "glam" the game's become far less likeable & enjoyable.

This is worse for championship, allows teams in prem who start badly to panic buy our players. I suppose you'd get a good fee at least, almost an incentive to not play your top players in first few weeks to hide them!

On the other hand we got what turned out to be a great deal for burke

Would you like 3 to replace Sutton, Laws and Hodge?

Simple.
The paranoia of Sky re the equality of the sexes ( across all sports ) - with the inevitable consequence that the principle of best person for the job goes out of the window.

Ok. The sexes are equal in law. Can the best person for the job be a female? Asking for a friend.

Yes, if they were more insightful and able to connect with an audience. Who wouldn't?

No issue with an all female panel.
Sheer coincidence that Sky have one female on every panel these days...

if i'm watching a stream i often turn the volume off

i don't really enjoy final score, there is 1 very very bad female pundit who fakes excitement very badly and always speaks to high, actually out of tune

i wish Jack Dee were a football pundit

hope this helps
