Been following Forest for 67 years, I know I could not believe it.

Born in Sneinton, a few of us used to wander down to either Meadow Lane or the City Ground on a Saturday as they opened the ground at half time for people to leave early. Thats when we would sneak in and watch the second half. Eventually my next door neighbour took to me to my first full match at Forest. On the kop between the Bridgeford end and the Brian Clough stand. That was it.
Held a season ticket for many years and one year, when we in div 3 I decided to try and get to every game home and away. I managed it bar two games. Refused entry at Colchester, trying to sneak into the home end.

I am more of a 3/4 full glass type of person. The year we got relegated from div 2 I had a bet on us winning the league with 100 points+ and 100 goals+.

I had a bet on Kevin Campbell scoring 30 goals the year he had a hat trick against Coventry, I think he ended up with 4 goals for the season.

I think I would like to see us in the premiership and will worry about beating Derby's points score once we get there.

Welcome and some fine Forest heritage there.  (NG2 wouldn't mean a lot without the fans.  Nottingham Forest 'is' the fans.)  You remember football when it was a genuine grass roots game full of working class heroes.  You've clearly seen the highs and lows of Forest.  Well done to you, Sir.

I admire your optimism.

With Marinakis on board, I feel quietly confident we'll beat Derby's points score 'when' we get there.

SA.

Times up ladies and gentlemen,

Changes are coming.

Don't be surprised if you find yourselves blocked in the coming days/weeks.

No reason why you can't find one minute every few days to make a contribution. Your choice.

They will be informed of how long they have been blocked for, for example 2 weeks. Then after that period they will be informed that the block has been lifted and they will have the option/choice to post just like they have now.

There, I used the word "purge" today.
Last month I got to use the word "carrack" in a conversation, nobody knew what I was talking about.
I was so proud of myself.

I would just like to say that the forum is going great and I am delighted with all you posters and contributions that you make.

The problem with me is that I am never satisfied and I always want more and I have a burning desire for this forum to be the best. I am ambitious and I have drive. I won't ever stop. It's just how I am. Always have been and always will be.

Now stop bloody reading and get posting. Tik tok tik tok...

Nothing wrong with that Sniffer. Hopefully your passion will rub off on some of the others.
