This is a very good read and highlights the type of players we need within the current system we play: https://twitter.com/mc_of_a/status/12077...35078?s=21

It certainly does, interesting that we only have lolley on that list. The whole of brentfords midfield is on it so you can certainly see what style they play. They will have a good second half of the season unless they are weakened.

When he gets his head down and goes forward he's a good player. (He stopped playing at Forest after 'that' winger gave him such a WHACK that it could be heard reverberating around the City Ground. And he disappeared for the rest of the match. The latter attitude probably beeped his manager off. Unless some other good quality wingers that delight in getting kicked because it wins free kicks and possession and they just get up and pile the pressure on. Whether it's attitude or lack of ability. Forest will turn the churn on players. Talent isn't enough. You have to have mental toughness in the Championships. It's stuff other than 'talent' which is what the current debate on the 'player of the decade' is all about. Talent isn't enough without application. Those stats from Jock. Ameobi looks good value on a free. 100% more goals. 400% more assists. SA.

And their recruitment? No arguments. Somethings that Forest's leadership could learn from and work hard to implement here so that Forest have an indelible identity. SA.

Nottingham Forest players reportedly had to be pulled apart during the disastrous 4-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday last month.
The Athletic say there were 'angry scenes' in the Reds dressing room at both half-time and after the final whistle with all four goals coming in the first half. It is reported that some players had to be kept apart as tensions spilled over with Forest putting in a desperate performance. |
