4231 or 442 (although that means Mir...) and stop just getting it wide and playing quick crosses. Our crossing is so bad, ameobi/Robinson in particular, need to look up and actually aim crosses and ideally have some players making runs.
Hopefully we can get Sow on the pitch next week
Hopefully.

Think he might be referring to Martin O' Neill.

Oh yes, I had forgotten about him :)

I am starting to wonder if Watford got at Lamouchi and he wanted to speak to them but Forest refused.
Just a thought. It's certainly gone tits up since the 'approach' was made.

I haven't. I'm still brooding about it. :)
I wish we'd kept MoN. I think we'd be further forward overall. Tougher mentally and more robust physically against the 'struggle to break them down' sides. And the players Martin would have brought in would have been more appropriate to this league.
All ifs and buts.
He had a year on his contract and wasn't allowed to see it out.
Forest are now 8th. They don't seem that much better off than with either of the two previous managers.

Really?
I didn't know about that... :o
I see... 'Loyalty' in football.
The plot thickens. Both he and the team seem a bit out of sorts this last week.
When did Watford make that approach..?

I don't think so tbh mate.
I think today was just a simple case of him trying to change things up, and things falling badly.
Daws has been mint, but he went from talisman to pap today. Wendies played us spot on, and Mouch tried to include all his best attacking options, few of which are promotion material, and it's showing.

Drop Lolley I get. Playing silva / carvalho as wingers - no. Playing both carvalho and silva upsets the balance of the side. Adomah should have played.
Dawson was shocking today - Worrall also has to play on his wrong side. No surprise to me that the last 2 matches teams have targeted our inside left channel. Carvalho started left wing and gave no protection whatsoever to robbo- who gets the blame from everyone on here and in the ground.
We have been shocking for weeks and well off the pace. We will struggle to finish top half we are that bad.
Watson has had a good season but for me is part of the problem. We play so deep because of lack of pace of Dawson teams just suck out our midfield then hit long to strong strikers down the channels. We are so susceptible to this at home.

Lamouchi later said that he never spoke to them. That poses the question was he stopped and not allowed to talk to them?

There have been some questionable decisions since before then.
We also seem to have become very one dimensional.

Ty for the information, Sniffer Dog. That was very low key. I didn't pick that up. But clubs making an approach for a manager can really unsettle them and the side. Why couldn't Watford have targeted Leeds or WBA's Coach instead...
Very intriguing. Ironic that Forest have suffered 'some sort of drama' with their 'Coach' for two seasons in a row and results have 'suffered' for two successive seasons. Cause and effect?
At this rate of going, it won't be long before he can talk to them.

Wigan. Millwall. It costs points both games there.
Predictable. Forest seem to have become predictable. Eg. Teams targeting Forest's left hand side.

We have the fifth worst home record in the league, having lost four games now at the WFCG.
Not good enough Sabri.
