Seems to have gone quiet on this again recently. Do people think it's realistic that we'll start work on the rebuild immediately after the end of this season? We've not heard anything about planning permission even having been submitted yet, let alone approved.

I am not convinced that work will start on time either. Hope I'm wrong on that.

Bit of an update from the club.
Still a bit vague on times though. Expecting to submit planning application before the end of the year, and hoping that work could commence in the first half of 2020.

Not convinced it will start next season if I'm honest.
This will form part of the public consultation process required prior to submitting the development plans with the planning authority. The plans will then go before the Rushcliffe District Council Planning Committee for approval.

Wonder if some extra drainage or water storage is part of the new Main Stand plans? Water storage tanks under the car park that could be used as 'grey water' to flush toilets etc?

The club have released some more imagery ahead of the consultation days - all looks very impressive. It seems from the mini-video they just released though that the filling-in of the Bridgford Stand corner has now been descoped, as the video shows it being the same as it is now. So capacity would be somewhere around 35k - 36k, which is still decent.
Looking forward to hearing more about this over the next couple of days as people go to the consultation and share what they've seen.

Planning on going later - A52 floods permitting.

They're looking at 15 months from start to finish, with some seats being available for use earlier than the final completion date.

It is looking so good!! Delighted we still have the city ground, just better and the big plus for me is it is still a stadium not a bowl.
