EM and Vrentzos will be fuming 100%.

We really look as though we are lumbered with him.

In fairness it seemed like a great signing at the time. I’m not sure you can attribute too much blame to the previous regime on that one. Just chalk it down to one that didn’t work out

IMO he needs some decent advice from his agent. Someone needs to tell him that first and foremost he has to do the business on the pitch. He'll probably realise when he's 30 and playing for Alfreton Town.

There has to be a question mark over his mentality.

Clearly talented, but completely hit a brick wall since he joined us.

Seems to have lost his belief, hunger, and is sitting on a pretty contract.

He has to do himself justice somewhere on loan in L1 next season or his career is in tatters

Football, like life, is in the mind.

I don't think Forest's scouting was strong enough then.

My lasting memory of Clough is two fold.  One, him making a dynamic start to the 'acm' role and drifting in and out of games.  A player with potential.

The 2nd?  Clough talking in interview, with a big gob of gum he was chewing on and a blazay manner.  That told me enough.

Forest need to be stronger in scouting.  Rumours of scouting in Sweden and trying to unearth some gems with robust physicality AND mentality(!).

The days of Forest spending £3 million on average players need to come to and end.  Sure, some players work out.  Some don't.  It's how you spend it.  Leave no stone unturned.  Think about the league you're in.  Recruit accordingly.  Be progressive.

Off the field, Forest are really getting there.  But scouting is one of the final pieces perhaps that needs to be improved upon so that matters on the field can improve.

SA.

Anybody know if Dawson may be fit to play next season?
Or are his playing days over?

Great news, a fully fit Dawson would make all the difference, our season started as soon as he played and derailed when he became injured.
Still my favourite player, if only he was 10 years younger!

Hopefully not a 1926 Silver Ghost

If he plays more than 50% of the games I will be amazed.

Murphy has contributed more.

Well that's a pleasant surprise, hope he stays fit, a real bonus if he can.
