Tickets are now on sale for the City Ground fan park that is being staged to mark the 40th anniversary of Nottingham Forest's first European Cup triumph.
The celebration, to be held on Thursday, May 30, is being staged in conjunction with Nottingham-based Art of Football. It will pay tribute to that historic night in Munich, when Brian Clough’s Reds saw their first European adventure come to a remarkable, memorable end. The event will be attended by many of the Miracle Men who were involved in that squad, while there will also be live music and comedy, with the acts involved to be confirmed in the near future. Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for Under-18s and are now on sale from the ticket office.

I think that there are only 2500 tickets available, they are not opening the whole ground, in case anyone was wondering.

It’s not in the ground - but outside in the car park. I assume it will be an extended area of the pre match family initiative launched recently. Very few details available earlier when I picked up my tickets ( in fact zero information ) - I strongly suspect they are gauging interest / sales before committing to final detail.

Might take a couple of years. Unfortunately, due to the money that's been exchanged for him over these last few years, he wont be afforded that kind of luxury. He's finished as a top flight player and even a top championship player, as no club going out for promotion is going to be able to afford him the playing time. And, you've gotta say, Fawaz played an absolute blinder when he took the £13mil from the Germans. And to have the foresight to take the whole cash upfront and drop any sell on fee, unbelievable acumen! |
