We have taken a couple of young lads on trial from Greek side Atromitos.

2 midfielders Fotis Pikoulas and Grigoris Pietris.

Does marinakis have links with this club?

Not really links as such but the two clubs do get along together.

And the manager of Atromitos will be one of the candinates to take over from MON when the time comes.

Well he’s not good enough for the first team, he’s had plenty of matches in the last couple of years and at 27 it’s not likely to change. Probably not cheap on wages either having come from the Prem. Would bite your hand off to get back what we paid for him.

To be fair to Darikwa for a while this season he was our most improved player.
He had some cracking games under Karanka for 3 months Oct-Dec.

Now he is a victim of the new system, he is not really suited to a 3-4-2-1 in my opinion.

Completely agree, he was brilliant for a number of games.

He's been fit the last 8 games or so and no sign of him. Not looking good .
