I would suggest that it is going to be very hard to break into the top 6 and would require a huge upturn in our results. The simulations for us to get 6th spot requires us to win 6 of the remain 8 games 1 draw and 1 defeat, results includes beating Middlesbrough and stealing 6th on goal difference. I think this shows how big of a gap 4 points is right now. The expected total for 6th place as it stands is 73-74 points.

It gives a chance for the injured and jaded players to get some rest or a grip (in some cases...).

Players like Grabban and Cash (both goal scorers) have been mightily missed.

With '8'? games left?  However many it is.  Grabban and Cash back is perfectly timed.  Getting them back into the team is essential.

I agree SA but we also need the form of both Villa and Wednesday to take a nosedive. Fingers crossed...

I think if we meet Villa in the play offs.  It will be all over.  That's the 2nd hurdle.
