I think if Villa are docked 9 points...they will recover them nd still over take us ...i doubt we make the 65 point mark come May...

Another cheeky post from myself ...?...
For those that keep saying that we should be happy with a top 10 finish this year following years of decline, I wish to note that on first year ofthe mad man reign (Fawaz), Billy V2 came to one game off the play offs..last game v Leicester at home decided this...his following year imploded only in the second part of the season, so to say that we should be happy with 10th after years of decline is just not true. When O Driscoll got the job full time following a difficult season, where we had to build a team in a month, we finished that season a game away from promotion...nd this by having three different managers in one season... the so called bad season on the field where only three...nd one of them was when AK was at the helm...the latters legacy is going to be a legacy comparable to Theresas May legacy as PM of the UK....waisted money nd wasted time...

It has done most times. It gives a chance for the injured and jaded players to get some rest or a grip (in some cases...). Players like Grabban and Cash (both goal scorers) have been mightily missed. Villa have to play with Sheff. Wednesday, someone will lose points, they also have to play Leeds and Norwich.

I would suggest that it is going to be very hard to break into the top 6 and would require a huge upturn in our results. The simulations for us to get 6th spot requires us to win 6 of the remain 8 games 1 draw and 1 defeat, results includes beating Middlesbrough and stealing 6th on goal difference. I think this shows how big of a gap 4 points is right now. The expected total for 6th place as it stands is 73-74 points.
