Poor finishing cost us vs Palace, we should have thrashed them, and we more than deserved a point yesterday (missing MGW & they needed the ref's help from kick off).
I think it'll all click into place soon. Hopefully on Friday!!!
Poor finishing seems to be the theme of our club since we got promoted. Which is odd as we've had multiple coaches and players. It really is bizarre. None of them could get us playing an expansive game at home and scoring plentiful goals. If Glasner can get this team scoring more then we would really shoot up the table.
Wolves last season springs to mind!

Simple truth is that Chris Wood had the season of his life 2 years ago but realistically is now declining. So a lot is hinging on Delap to be a reliable CF and goalscorer.
Before them we had Taiwo who was limited at best, before that our last PL quality CF was probably PVH.

Apparently we a third for xGc ie the third least chances given away to other teams.
Doesn't feel like that (and maybe this is a bad stat for Sels), shows how well we are playing. If I was a neutral, I'd be concerned about playing us despite the results.

There's really not much more we can do ogher than convert those missed chances. We have done enough in most games to put teams away. For whatever reason it's just not happening for us at the moment.
I'm more than confident we'll turn it around soon.

For those old enough to remember, before we went down under Cloughy were were always considered to be 'too good to go down' and everyone was waiting for it to 'click'. Im really worried this season could be similar, with people saying Glasner's a world class coach etc.

The good thing is that Glasner is not on the booze.
Unfortunately Brian had completely lost the plot by the time he took us down.
But I see your point Pap.

Think thats a totally different situation. We sold Walker and Sheringham and replaced them with Tiler and Gary Bannister. No such thing as squad depth back then and as Sniffer says Clough was sadly incapable, it was pretty inevitable.
