Thoughts on Glasner so far then? With a three week break approaching, two good away performances, three (plus league cup) pretty poor home performances. I have to say little underwhelmed so far.
Definitely has lived up to some of the things the Palace fans said. Hopefully he can begin to show some flexibility in tactics at home against so called weaker opposition

Not being able to break down defensive teams is hardly exclusive to Glasner. We've not been able to do it since we got promoted.
Villa away showed the potential. Yesterday showed there's still a lot for him to do. He did try and tweak things and - to be fair - but for a ridiculous goal line clearance and an even more ridiculous VAR decision it would've worked.

I'm just at a loss with the constant picking of NDoye, he has no belief and basically like playing with 10 men.
If Jesus starts that game yesterday we win.

When we appointed OG we changed (yet again) the way we play the game, looks like some of the players are either not buying into his ways or are unable (Nico). I have been banging the drum for a few years now about creating a club ethos/style of play from the 1st team right down to the academy, this gives continuity a traite the club sadly lacks. The change of a coach would then be irelevant as the person who replace said coach at that time would be secured by the powers that be of a similar playing style to the previous guy.
We needed to change matters yesterday and unfortunatley OG seems incaperble or just stubbon in his thinking, I also question some who had elevated OG to elite statuts, why? he is and always has been an average coach and I think was a little lucky to win the FA cup (Henderson off?) and the Europa CL which was full of weak opposition, Forest were bad last season but we would have walked it.
We have what we have, but it looks like another season of looking over our shoulders and boring low scoring games at WFCG plus scratching around the lower levels of the PL, we have just not progressed in the past 4 seasons and as yet to really establish the club in the PL despite all the money expended.

It’s 5 games in. I agree with Ndoye criticism and personally I think he got his team very wrong - Aina and Jesus should have started on merit. I’d guess the Cov goal would not have happened and Jesus would have been more creative from the off. However, he is learning and needs to find his best team from the squad he has inherited. Another window and the summer and I can see him really getting a tune from them.

what he has managed to get from McTee that no other manager has done shows he is a good coach and the rest will take time

We signed up for dull but effective. We've gone through out rapid counter phase via Cooper and Nuno, last season was a write off and now we're onto structure and phases of play. It will come but i think it needs a left footed wing back, hence why id have taken spurs' cash for Neco. He's a brilliant left back for club and country. He's not a lwb.

This system of Glasner's has really affected our biggest assets IMO. MGW looks a bit lost in it, Jesus' ability to receive and crucially hold long balls, has gone as he's out of the side. Aina is out the side now too and Neco's been asked to carry out a role which he's still coming to terms with. Milenkovic is not a ball playing defender and he looks like he's struggling to come to terms with it. I also think Hutchinson ended the season very strongly and he's no longer at the club.
I just think yet we've yet to reap the rewards of Glasner's system. So far all it's done is take away our biggest assets. Of course, the best thing about this system is that we didn't need a direct replacement for Anderson. And there's so much more to come from Munoz and Delap I think.
In summary, despite all the set-backs of the system I'd say we've done OK so far. Plenty of room for improvement to come but we may need to realise that some favourite players like Milo, Jesus, Aina and even CHO may well be leaving the club due to this system change. That's my take.
