Forget the bridge talk! They won’t build a bloody bridge!

A different solution will be found, suspect something like stopping southbound traffic over the bridge after the match allowing for a wide dedicated pedestrian lane. It will be some sort of fudge along those lines.

Get Steve Mc Queen and co in and build a tunnel then charge a toll fee to any user (bar season ticket holder) all profits to NFFC this would be our extra income generator similar to Spuds!

I'm sure if there were a straightforward solution then the club's consultants would have proposed it before now. But you may be right, the club could be giving signals out that they may be receptive to building a bridge, just so they can get the planning app approved quick-sharp. What they might be really intending to do is to argue the case for lane closures further.

I think this will get approved without a condition/requirement to build a bridge.

Last time I went on a rowing boat I was just going around in circles.

It was in Peashome Park in Scarborough.

I will never make it across the Trent.

All this talk of a new footbridge is very nice, but where on the North side would it go?

I walk over Trent Bridge every game then up through the Meadows into town, and agree that the current situation isn't great.
People cross the bridge to do the same plus, queue at bus stops to go to town, walk to train station for train/trams, go to cars parked in meadows area etc.
However, it's still better than a lot of other Premier league grounds I've been to.

I'm surprised that the council haven't tried to get us (well Mr Marinakis) to pay for a tram extension along the embankment, and a new bridge over Trent to the council offices!!!
