Oliver Glasner - Welcome To Nottingham Forest

Cheers Eagle, it certainly is bound to be interesting. We seem to never do calm and collected Trentside.
Our owner is bound to re-invest all the Anderson money and any other fees, plus whatever SCR allowance we have above that.

Regarding the fall out that pretty well every Palace fan (and probably most neutrals) expects to happen between Glasner and Marinakis. It will be different because as we have frequently said Marinakis is ambitious to a point of obsession and pretty well anything Glasner wants he will get.
.
However there is a price for that because failure will not be tolerated and this is where I worry about a hugely expensive 3 year contract. The other potential sticking point will be around the control Glasner gets. I don’t know if that is something that would irk him if other noses were butting in or if he is suddenly made to work with an Edu type. I would hope this sort of thing has been thrashed out in advance, I expect Glasner to have demanded a high degree of autonomy, its just whether he gets it.

Anderson has money to reinvest. Plus this year's Sky money and other outgoings.

Could be £200m maybe. That's a very big slab of cash to throw at a coach. If that's been offered I'm not surprised Glasner has agreed to come to us.

Although on the other hand, the team just finished 16th and lost a player worth 116m...

Presumably there are legalities that have to be observed before anything is announced.

They will be waiting for Glasner to do the club media stuff.

Sorry if you are having a tough time, grief can make usually trivial matters cause strong emotions, all the best to you.

I respectfully wouldn't agree with your point about fall out. Yes, our so called Holmesdale Ultras will make a thing of it but IMO they don't represent the views of most Palace fans.

And yes, I agree Glasner probably has an assurance over money to spend and that Marinakis is going to demand a certain level of success and quickly.

Thanks. So back at you, regarding whether EM and OG will get on. What do you think really caused Glasners outburst in January? Is he just sensitive and prone to stamping his feet if things don’t go his way? Or was it more specific that he is fiercely ambitious and he was frustrated that Palace weren’t meeting those ambitions? Honest answer welcome.
