So I’ve seen a lot of people banging on that we’ve not done enough work to show how we will safely disperse the added numbers from the ground on matches days after a normal match or if something terrible were to happen and the place needed evacuating
We all know the boat club needs moving as well
Are we using this land to move the boat club and then any extras we had around the Peter Taylor stand and whatever we have behind Brian clough with some residential added in to facilitate the easy movement of the extra fans to and from the stadium on match day?

Yes seen the report from SAG and it raises a fair few questions.

However we are paying Gleeds and KSS design millions of pounds to project manage this development therefore I am assuming they know whats needed to comply with planning regs.
If they don’t and the application fails thats a different matter then Im sure they would look forward to the subsequent meeting with EM.

Can't help but think the new bridge, Ladybay-Trent basin is in the wrong place, but I could be proved wrong.

Ladybay bridge is closed/restricted to give pedestrians leaving the game opportunity to cross river, meaning all car traffic has to go over Trent bridge. Trent bridge is a free for all, 2 or 3 lanes from city to WB often full of pedestrians heading from game to city (me included).

Ideally there needs to be more ways to cross the river near the ground.

There is always something that crops up in this never ending saga.

The biggest plus point of the current site - its location - is probably also its biggest drawback.

I live locally and tend to get dropped off from Radcliffe Road. Always thought it was daft closing Lady Bay Bridge for repairs when there is a match on.

That explains it :-)

Looks like there’s a new plan of action with deadlines for the start of October for a decision
