I think a massive amount hinges on what Spurs do against Wolves. If they don't win that then I reckon 38/39 would be enough - maybe even the 36 we have now.

If we could get a draw or better still a win on Friday night that'd heap even more pressure on Spurs and for all they played better against Brighton they STILL didn't win. And what's more dropped points in the most crushing way.

Agree, it's all about Spurs now. If they win next weekend then it's all on again and we're probably going to get dragged back down there. If that happens then I reckon you've got to be looking at 40+ to stay up.

If they don't win then I'm pretty certain it's curtains for them. I just can't see them recovering from the crushing blow that not beating Wolves will be.

I reckon they win that game next week and the fight goes on. Despite not winning on Saturday they were much improved and it looked like they were digging in and trying to play with more intensity. And I just can't believe we're going to canter off into the sunset and leave Spurs and West Ham to it. It's not the Forest way.

I think we've got a really good chance to win on Friday and potentially then earn the right to rotate after the Villa game. 7 unbeaten in all competitions and not lost since that Brighton game in the league.

Sunderland are beatable and Chelsea/Newcastle are on dreadful form. Really hope we don’t need anything from the last two though.

Yeah they're an average team, similar to Fulham, Palace, Everton etc. It will be a tight game either way but definitely winnable. They are 11th, -4 GD, they have had a better season than us but not sure they're a better team than we are at this moment.

The point I was (poorly) making was that every team who plays them thinks they can do them, but the reality often turns out to be much different. Similar to us last season in a way. They don't have stellar names but do have good players, a good team ethic, they work hard for each other and have a noisy crowd behind them. They're formidable.
