I think the next 3 games give us a real opportunity to get some substantial points on the board that could relay any fears once and for all. This last week has given everyone a massive lift and now we need to build on it.

This is a really good point. We’ve got the international break for Vitor to work with most of the players ahead of the Villa, Burnley and Sunderland games. We should be targeting wins from all of those as well as seeing how we get on in Europe. We *could* put a buffer between us and the other relegation battlers including Leeds, but we’ve all seen how inconsistent we’ve been all season. VP does seem to have galvanised the squad and the fans so far though, so fingers crossed

Just realised we haven’t won at home in the league since…..we beat Tottenham 3-0 on 14th December.

That seems a heck of a long time ago. 4 out of 7 games remaining are at home, Villa, Burnley, Newcastle, Bournemouth.

Goes without saying we don’t want to leave it to the final day needing a win. Got to find 2 a least 2 wins from that lot.

I think our recent home performances though have deserved more and we have played some decent stuff.

In my opinion Burnley and Newcastle are there for the taking.

Villa and Bournemouth a bit more difficult but doable.

I know our home form has not been great but I am looking forward now and not back.

Sunderland away is also very winnable and we have looked pretty good away under Vitor.

In fact, its wins against Fenerbache, Midtjylland and Spurs, plus a draw at Man City!

Hopefully Villa feel like they can rest players against us and prioritise the Europa League.

No chance they do that Wassyate, Emery has said at the weekend the biggest aim is to qualify for the champions league. They will go strong against us. 

Still fancy us we always do well against villa at home,our away form needs to start translating at home with goals.

It is going to be very close. Prior to beating Spurs i think we were the most likely team to go down. That victory as given us a chance and our performances have improved but not neccesarily reflected in points. Everybody knows it is the lack of goals which has put us in this position. Burnley is an absolute must win and i think Newcastle isn’t far behind in importance and maybe two draws from the rest. I have a feeling it will go to the last game though.

7 game mini league now - Hopefully Vitor will be able to spend some quality time with most of the team on the training ground during the international break - a luxury he hasn't been afforded since he came in....

Strikers scoring and the return of Chris Wood could hopefully give us the boost we need going into the run in.....
