Important to show togetherness and to be united as one.
Myself, I'd have preferred for Anderson, MGW etc to have stayed at home and have a fresh mind on Sunday. If the B team lads know that everything rests on their shoulders, it might have encouraged them to step up more.
Disagree with that Pap, sends the wrong message if it looks like this game is not worthy of the star players being there.
Need to treat this seriously, however we do it a win is a confidence boost.
I don’t want our last appearance in Europe for goodness knows how long to be a tame performance in a place none of us had heard of until this season.
I'm in realistic mode now Salv. The time for sending messages etc, blah-di-blah, is over. In light of it's positioning right in between crucial prem games, this tie was effectively lost last week. Tonight was never going to be a game we could put a strong team out for. We needed to take a lead up there and we failed. Yes, we have a chance with the B team but let's be honest, that group have consistently let the club down all season, no matter whom the opponent.
But if we do get through tonight, which other prem games are going to be compromised to play the next game? And if I'm being honest, apart from the odd good performance, I've not enjoyed this tournament at all so I won't be bothered when we exit it. The league phase is nothing but a money making farce which has been filled with games which the club could have done without. Our squad is not equipped to compete on two fronts and doing so has hindered us in both. I'll be supporting us as ever of course, but it's a nothing game for me now.

I do agree is ridiculous how many extra matches you have to play to actually win this.
However, personally I'm still loving it. Hope this isn't the last game tonight, be sad if we get knocked out early and also get relegated anyway.

Not enjoying a European campaign is bizarre to me. We’ve been tosh for 20 years, make the most of it. We may never be here again.

Herning is a beautiful city and the contrast between the Turks all wanting to stab you in the neck and the Danes wishing you a good game tonight is surreal!

It's entirely because we've been tosh for 20 that I've not enjoyed it. Its being enjoyed at the cost of our re-awakening.

Get yourself to one of the away trips Pap, it’ll completely change your point of view.

Yeah, I should've done that. Last one I went to was Lyon away. God it was cold on those concrete terraces that night.

Disappointed with that team selection if I’m honest, can’t see us beating them with that XI.
Hope I’m wrong

‘Kin hell. Not booking my flight to Porto then.
Really disappointed to have put so much effort into qualifying and battling through to apparently chucking it away now. Not what we envisaged last summer.

So survival in the Premier League is the only priority.
Such a shame it has come to this.
