Fair view but I’d ask in that case do you think we deserve to go down anymore than say Wolves, Burnley or West Ham? Even Spurs and Palace are struggling this season and very poor so what makes them any less deserving of being relegated?
Spot on Bomber.
One of our biggest problems this season is that we massively over achieved last season.

It's just my own feeling towards the modern game and my personal opinion on the club. I know most people don't agree and it's pretty subjective.
I didn't say we are the worst team in the league although on our off days we give it a good go.
Firstly, we boo the premier league tune at the start of games and sing premier league corrupt as f**k. I don't know why staying in the league over relegation is considered life and death. Very few teams in the league play entertaining football and most games are not exciting in the league. Teams go down and teams go up. I won't let the horrible finances that control our game influence my feelings.
The comment about deserving to go down is based on a few things.
Money spent (8th or 9th).
Signing players we never play.
Time in premier league means we should be more stable compared to promoted teams.
Number of managerial appointments this season.
The fact that we didn't change our first manager due to poor performance but club politics.
Some of the behaviour by the club and our owner in public
Victim based mentality among large parts of the fan base. Refs, VAR and general premier league fines, bans and points deductions.
Complacency.
I know some people won't like this post but it's just what I feel and the reasons why I won't be renewing my season ticket.

The vast majority will not agree but I appreciate you clearly explaining your reasons. Prepare to take some heat about not renewing your season ticket, there will be plenty of “we don’t want you anyway” comments Im sure.
My pushback to you is why do we deserve to be relegated more than Wolves with their faceless ownership, Burnley who never invest, Palace with their ridiculous chairman, West Ham who sacked their best manager and play in a tax payer funded stadium thats awful, ManUtd who sack catering staff then wast a billion on substandard players, Man City with their 115 charges?
The premier league is a pretty unlikeable place and Im not sure its for you to be honest. Go support Mansfield instead?

Probably a good thing you don’t renew if that’s really how you feel.

I love the PL.
I think it's brilliant.
I never want to lose our PL status.
It means the world to me.

I have never felt like that before usually I hate summers with no football.
I just hope that when it does end we are still in the PL.
Looking forward to a change of management and a good pre season.
If we stay up, and it's a very big if, there's a lot more that needs changing than just the management.
It was clear there were issues at the back end of last season, on the outside it seemed to start with Marinakis entering the pitch vs Leicester but it'd clearly been rumbling on longer than that.
The summer was completely unstable, you may call Nuno a lot of things but stupid isn't one of them, he knew the ship was starting to leak and got out. You can't build half a squad of players with two weeks left in a transfer window and that's before you even talk about the dodgy stuff with Textor, Joobrachian and Bertolucci.
A season that should've been the best we've had in decades, with the best foundations laid the season before has ended up an absolute disaster because, not for the first time, we've tried to run before we can walk.
So I agree management does need to change but so does everything else, right from the top. No more silly transfer dealings with agents of the month, no more flitting from plan to plan trying to shortcut to success because a season like this one is what you get as a reward. Find a plan that works (again!) And stick with it, for a few seasons, at the moment we shouldn't be trying to rival the top 6, that will come with time, patience and some harmony. It has to happen otherwise we'll just continue circling the drain spending huge amounts of money until, eventually we do go down.
Yep absolutely nailed it there PS
My worry is its not the Marinakis way and never has been. We have the rollercoaster for better or worse.
That’s the million dollar question though isn’t it?
Does the roller coaster stop us from being truly successful and established like Brentford or Brighton say?
Is our greatest strength also our greatest weakness?

CR, I have written this above in another post
Successful established Brentford highest league finish 9th
Successful established Brighton highest league finish 6th and never been back, sold all their talent
Erratic Forest finish 7th in only their 3rd season and for most of the season were top 3
Rollercoaster doesnt have to be bad but its very possible we come down with a thump.

Yes chaps don't disagree with your feedback.
I didn't say we are the only team that deserve to go down. Wolves definitely given their asset stripping and West ham for the reasons Sal mentioned. Obviously they are the realistic options and the bigger the list gets with City, United ect proves why the league is horrible.
Burnley just accept their fate and go about their business. Given the size of the town I respect that.
Palace have generally done things the right way until this season. If you asked every premier league season ticket holder who they would rather go down between forest and palace I reckon it would be pretty unanimous.
I'll walk and watch West Bridgford Colts if I fancy watching a live game. I'm at peace with my views. The product isn't that good.

Possibly, although Palace have taken some stick recently.
Whilst we occasionally do things I’m not keen on which paints us in a poor light, I also think there is some media narratives against us which border on good plain old racism/elitism.

Same here.
After 23 years away, I’d almost resigned myself to us never getting back.
Now we’re here, I can’t bear the thought of the championship again and what it could mean to the club.
We have to find a way to stay up and fix what’s broken in the summer.
