Yeh hes got a knock.
Touch and go for Tuesday.
Currently him and Omari our best wide options.
And with both West Ham’s first choice fullbacks at AFCON, we can target those areas.

On the last line, since that tournament started we’ve played a weakened Fulham (with their best at AFCON), a weakened Everton (AFCON and injuries) and come away with nothing.  :Wondering:

However a few things have really narked me last few games. One is not taking any responsibility for the clueless performance vs Everton and the tactics he used. Second is a minor point but optics are important and played a part in his appointment to begin with. I liked he left it to the players to take credit after the first few wins. But after a defeat I expect him to acknowledge the support especially away from home, not to just disappear down the tunnel, again its about responsibility and he isnt showing it.

I am also willing to give him the season but there does seem some really obvious mistakes being made that literally 90% of us on here wouldn't be doing. Sels obviously should've come straight back in and that was weird and secondly he needs to rotate the squad and he hasn’t and they all look knackered. We've got some allegedly decent squad players, they should be relied on and will get better with more minutes and protect our investments.

Hindsight with the goalie is great. John appeared to my untrained eye to be much better at distribution. The Man City Game he was pinging Jesus the majority of the time. Sels can be a bit off.

John's only bad game was yesterday. And boy it was bad

Stick With Dyche.

Call me old fashioned I prefer goalkeepers to keep the ball out of the net. They don’t get picked just because they can kick a bit better.
Thing is I reckon it’s obvious straight away with goalkeepers. Game 1 it was clear Turner was a liability with a ball at his feet, that Vlachodimos had jelly hands and Carlos Miguel had the heart of a mouse. John unfortunately has a brain fart in him all the time, he did it vs both Graz and Utrecht, he was overdue another.

Back to Dyche, the selection is on him. You want your defence to be stable and the back 4 to be comfortable and trust the bloke behind them. Thats Mr Reliable Sels, I don’t actually think he is fantastic and doesnt command his area enough for me but he does the basics well and thats good enough and he should be first choice.

0 hindsight, I've literally said it every game the teamsheet has been announced why we are still picking John over Sels.

Who cares about distribution when you're not good at making saves. I don't think there's been a game I've thought he was good, just not had that many shots against him and when they did they generally went in.

Dyche ain’t good enough, simple as that.
To set a team up like we did in the first half when have 2 England internationals, Brazilian internationals etc is unacceptable.

To set a team up to make endless crosses from poor areas against Everton is unacceptable.

Hes as bad as Ange, just in a different way.

Everton X2
Fulham
Villa
Bournemouth

Were all performances as bad as anything Ange served up.

Be interesting to see what happens if the next 4 games end in defeat

Who would you replace him with?

That’s the problem, until the summer.
Were in a pickle, make no bones,
The longer Dyche has been here, and getting his methods across, the more we are regressing

At outset, we had a bit of a bounce.
That has long gone.
Last 3 games, the set up has been unacceptable

In what way? Certainly not, Dyche?
