Ive had it with this pathetic system. I don’t care we've just had a goal disallowed, it was the correct decision. But why wasn’t it given immediately. Referees and linesman are scared to make any onfield decisions, they leave the whole thing to VAR. Ndoye was offside and it was bleeding obvious, nothing subjective about it. So why do we all wait for 5 minutes?
Useless, totally useless and killing the game as a spectacle.

They really dont like overruling the ref. He gave the goal.

But if VAR didn’t exist the linesman would have flagged immediately. They just bottled the decision. It was better in the Championship, a few mistakes sure but they even out.

Just seems like such an obvious flaw, how long it takes. If it takes longer than 30 seconds its not obviously a mistake so just let the ref/linesman make a decision.

Been obviously an issue from the start, really don't get the justification for not doing this.

That var delay seems to have unsettled us. This is one of those games that really having you looking back over your shoulder again. It really makes me concerned particularly with what is happening at Leeds. Really need to close that gap with those above us

It is a subjective decision so ref has to decide. Has to decide if he is interfering or not.

Its never been subjective in 140 years of football history until a few years ago and we were far better off that way. Ndoye was standing 2 yards offside bang in front of the keeper. There’s literally nothing to decide.

It was even worse inside the stadium. 

The worst bit for me was that during the corner that Igor’s goal was disallowed from it was a clear penalty on Morato, and the referee had warned their defenders during the preceding corner. I can’t believe that VAR didn’t give the penalty when disallowing the goal to be honest. It was the clearest penalty claim I’ve seen for us all season.

Just saw the Tarkowski incident on Sky sports’ ref watch. Surprise surprise Dermot Gallagher defends the ref and says it’s only a yellow, while the ex-player (Jay Boothroyd) calls it out as a red. Who do you think understands the game better? Who doesn’t have mates to defend in the matter?
