Nuno behaved disgracefully in my opinion but what led him to do that? You don’t spite an employer you like and respect without significant provocation.

Indeed, taken that post with a large slice of cynicism.

I'm actually going to shelve this after this post because we need to move forward and bring positivity back into the club for obvious reasons. Including our own sanity.

Nuno acted badly and engineered his own exit. He didn't do this over night. Why give someone a new contract and then do everything the opposite of what they want for the club to succeed. Nuno toed the line after the Leicester behaviour of the owner and tried to keep it professional for a long time.

There are other factors, some we know, some we don't and it all could have been handled differently, but it's proven now that our recruitment was harmful to the club, as was the forced change of playing style. These are some of the main reasons Nuno kicked off and they are proven to be bang on the money.

Squad harmony is more important than big signings. Bournemouth, Brentford, Palace, Fulham and Brighton. They all have different models but they all just make minor changes and don't panic or want to grow to quickly when they sell their top assets and/or qualify for Europe.

I'll never change my mind on this. It's our owner who wants to much to quickly. This has given us success but it's also hurt us.

You can take it whichever way you want.

You tend to question my honesty and integrity on almost every post I make which is getting tiresome.

The forum members can choose to believe who or whatever they want.

Not really Sniffer. After all, it's not about honesty it's about where your info comes from.

Precisely where I'm at. I feel it was all avoidable but think you're correct, it's probably been done to death by now.

There were a lot of problems mostly of which have not been talked about and I won't talk about them either.

The behaviour of our previous coach before Ange was outrageous.

I am not going into any details but folks should think twice before they start singing his name especially in front of EM who despite the behaviour of a certain individual has kept quiet and took all the S**t from the press and journo's etc on the chin.

Yes EM f****d up appointing Ange but one man put him in that position off having to appoint a new manager, a man who wanted the sack, enginnered the sack and got the sack with his outrageous behaviour.

This is a man who didn't give a S**t about Nottingham Forest fans and a man who in my opinion should not be welcomed back to the City Ground ever.

EM and especially the fans deserved better.

Now I hope EM will put his mistake of appointing Ange right and we can get back to progressing the football club again.

COYR!

I believe every word of this. Still very pissed at Nuno for engineering at least his part in this instability. Many questions remain unanswered and I don't expect you to be the one to answer them.

Did Nuno get angry with Edu for moving like a glacier in the transfer market (that was his MO at Arsenal)? Was he mad because he felt 13 transfers in without a preseason would destabilise the squad? I'm just looking for some answers to Nuno's irrational behaviour and why things went off the deep end and became irreconcilable with him and Edu. Who knows, maybe there are no sane answers.

Still want to know what the big man said to him on the pitch after Leicester though. :)

I don’t want to give them the oxygen of publicity but tempted to start a thread simply to rant about various pundits.
Neville we know about
Carragher talks some sense and also a lot of rubbish and is annoying.

Worst of the lot…..Chris Sutton. What makes him worst is that he claims to be a Forest fan. Absolute p***k.

Chris Sutton has only claimed to be a Forest fan after we got promoted and it looked like we might be a bit of a player in the prem. I must have missed his Forest input when we were languishing in the championship. I suspect he's latched on to us as a personal media career choice and he doesn't really give a S**t about us. Can anyone can point me to a radio Nottingham interview, or a Forest podcast where he's talked about having any affinity to us?

He always talks about Forest being “my club” in his column. Every interview I have ever seen with him he is slagging either the club, team or fans.

Sniff, in relation to your post about Nuno, I think everyone is open minded enough to believe it- there are certainly enough clues and hints out there; however, it is fair to say there are also two sides to every story.

In that respect, it’s reasonable for your audience to ask for more evidence or information about these circumstances to which you allude.

I know EM has broad shoulders and thick skin, but once things have settled down I would hope the truth (or at least the alternative viewpoint) is somehow revealed.

At the moment we have a drastic change in circumstances and change in personnel.
In 8 games we have gone from the precipice of our most exciting season in decades to the bottom three; we have lost our most successful manager since BC along with a transfer strategist (RW) who on the face of it has helped us navigate psr with some eyebrow raising sales during an exit period when a mysterious media-shy figure in Edu has slipped into the building.

I hate the word ‘optics’ but you can appreciate that clarification of the thought processes or reality surrounding this evolution is in no way questioning your ‘facts’ or anyone’s integrity, but would be a useful exercise for the reputation of the club, owner, and certain individuals and would nip the terrace conspiracy theories in the bud.

I did ask Sniff what he knew earlier on at the start of the season as i was very very curious and he has been silent until now.....

Things were really bad behind the scenes in the summer? Was it also Elanga and Morgan as well as Nuno?

I was always really baffled by the Elanga sale. Especially as he had three years left on his contract. I mean, who knows. Eufa? This would be good to know. I am over Nuno now. I think he totally engineered his exit as soon as he heard about West ham. Ange, I think was a fire drill. Unfortunately it remained that way. With Dyche and the team, we have what I consider stability. At least i hope so. In hindsight it probably would have been great if we had kept all of Nuno's backroom staff and appointed Rui as the next man up. Bit like Keith Andrews at Bentford...

Anyway, water under the bridge... Let's hope we get safe and have a cracking time in Europe.

Chicago: Onwards and upwards.

Seemed to go under the radar a little bit but squad Christmas party happened after spurs, travelled to Copenhagen, with spirits how after the win I hope it was a good bonding session and I hope dyche showed them a couple of moves he’s mastered from rock city basement
