I doubt it. Surely that was just a small handful of nutcases (which every club has, this one included) reacting to the Liverpool fans booing the National Anthem and any distaste for it will quickly be forgotten in what was another pretty impressive Wembley performance against one of big clubs.
Palace are rapidly becoming regarded by many genuine football fans as their second favourite team, after the one they have supported from birth. There is a lot of sympathy out there for the way they have been treated and Forest would do well to recognise that if the decision tomorrow confirms the UEFA decision and not do too much gloating. Marinakis is, by comparison, not well regarded by anyone other than Forest fans. It could come back to bite.
Wow. So you know every other football fan in the country do you? Good work.
Of course not! You have only to read the comments made after today’s game or read other club forums to understand it. It amuses me that people here think I am a Palace fan. I am a football fan whose local club, which I attend regularly, are in the National League. I watch the PL on TV. I admire genuine clubs whose have their heart solidly in their local area and are directed by people who are also fans. They are becoming increasingly scarce. I particularly don’t like Man City, Chelsea and more recently Newcastle and Bournemouth who have sold their souls to the money Gods. I was a big fan of Forest back in the Clough days. A genuine club run by passionate people who were part of the city. I felt for Forest during the wilderness years but am troubled by the way success has been purchased, rather than earned. This isn’t the way our football future ought to be. I don’t think Clough would approve of the way the game is now and would be ashamed to see his beloved Forest joining in.
I also believe in fairness in sport, so dislike diving and cheating just to gain an advantage just as much as I think the way UEFA have behaved over this isn’t fair. Every fair minded fan, even those from Forest, understand that. They want to win because they played well.
We won’t turn back the tide of foreign investors trying to make money out of English football but we can stop the scourge of multi club ownership further diluting local involvement. Hopefully the appointment of the regulator will do this, alongside raising the bar much higher on who meets the “ fit and proper person” requirements to avoid any possibility of overseas rogues sportswashing wealth created from dubious sources. Maybe even retrospectively. Their appointment looks like an interesting and potentially important one.
Yet Clough bought the first ever million pound player, and if you don't support Palace I have 4 bollocks.

Palace are literally owned by 4 people who are not local and who also own other clubs. Not sure how they're fighting the scourge of multi club ownership.

They are so deluded it's mental. Deluded?
If I understand the structure is that there are 3 Americans who invest in sports teams. Palace being the only football team involved. And Parish, who is a long time Palace fan. Each own 25% of the voting rights but with the Americans delegating full responsibility to Parish. So no multi football club conflicts or suggestions of inappropriate influence.
Parish has been outspoken and on the record with his distaste for multi club arrangements. It’s why Textor and he fell out. It will never happen whilst he runs the club.
Any delusion exists only in the minds of those who think otherwise.

Do it now Sniff. This guy has obviously been 'sent' to infiltrate Forest forums and argue the Palace case. You can see this by the way he repeats the propaganda they've all been fed. That and his passive aggressive style is a complete giveaway.

I just don't get why. The decision is the decision and nothing we can do about it either way. Jog on. Just hope it's finalised either way certainly more for the sanity of Palace fans.

Personally I would prefer it if we weren’t so sensitive and resistant to alternative viewpoints.
Fair enough if you prefer a Forest fans only stance, there’s more than enough media out there which will parrot the mainstream opinion.
However we could sometimes do with realising that our view isnt the majority view and rightly or wrongly in this case public sympathy is with Palace not us.

I'm just glad it all comes to an end today which ever way it goes. Can actually focus on football again. I'm happy with either competition. We can win the conference league should we be in that, some excellent trips in the Europa and I still think we can go deep in that.
