Maybe they’ve printed forums and bbc comments pages about how it’s a travesty and should be reversed.

I’d rule against them for wasting my time! Possibly minutes of meetings during the time textor involved to show no influence. Pure guess

The CAS decision has no right of appeal, however all CAS decisions can be challenged in Swiss courts. Even now, just a few days ago, the EU has ruled that CAS decisions can now be challenged in EU courts as well as Swiss courts. So if EM/NFFC does not like the decision he can bring a case to a court in Switzerland to challenge the CAS decision. Its not possible to show "influence" with minutes of meetings. Influence is the ability to affect decision making through formal and informal means. Unless you have records of everything Textor ever said in private to anyone connected with CPFC then you cannot say he did not have the ability to influence any decisions. He had the ability to, and therefore, it broke the rules. Simple as that.

Aye, particularly the manager appointment issue where he was apparently Textors choice (widely reported). Just trying to think what they could produce

Can the players sue the club? If I was a player and I had qualified for the Europa League but the club is incompetent in its admin, is there a case for them to take action? Does it affect bonus payments? They’ve done hardly any business this summer in incomings or outgoings, maybe theyre all waiting until the decision is made.
We should consider suing for our legal costs if we win.

Maybe there'll be a bit less sympathy for Palace after some of their fans made a racket during the minute's silence for Diogo Jota and Andre Silva at the Community Shield.

And also then doing a protest against Uefa and setting off flares. Seen some reports on X that there were families close by to where the protest took place and kids scared from it all kicking off. What with that, making noise during the minutes silence, and then Liverpool fans booing the National anthem it’s been a good start to the seasons big opener. |
