Agree but both of those teams would likely struggle in the Championship let alone PL.

Doesn’t really matter as we won’t be playing them anyway !

Unwise to be over confident. Nobody spends the kind of money that this has cost Parish unless he, and his legal team, believe they have at least a good chance of overturning the decision. We’ll know in a week from now. Unless there is a mitigated settlement earlier, which looks unlikely.

Unless he’s trying to save face because he’s obviously f****d up

Parish not acting on emails received is his fault. Take ownership rather than blaming everyone else. You know what to do Sniff.

I still can't get over the line that the lawyers wouldnt challenge it unless they were certain of success

Course they would.
Pretty much every club has challenged CAS. None of them have got it overturned.
Palace won’t either.

The lawyers will challenge it because they’ll be paid a lot of money for doing so.

Parish will get the club to pay for it to deflect from his fk up. To not contest it would be too much like admitting his incompetence.

Common sense and doing the right thing have little place in corporate life.

Plus it makes UEFA the baddies. They'll retain the blame if/when CAS tell them to jog on.

Almost certain that Crystal Palace or Nottingham Forest will now play Fredrikstad of Norway in the Conference League playoff round (after Midtjylland win the away leg 3-1).

I just want to know what cup we in. An away date so I can book my flight. Sick of this nonsese

Fredrikstadt does look a cracking away day. Stadium only holds 12k though so getting a ticket would be difficult. Lets hope it doesn’t come to it.

One of Palace's arguments is that UEFA have different rules for different clubs. I'm sorry but you can't just accuse UEFA of favouritism and that is a libellous claim

Apparently palace have ‘compelling evidence’ that’ll help cas over turn uefas decision….

So media says. But if it's what has been rumoured - about the hard deadline date and so on - then it's not in the least bit compelling.
