Looks like one may have been him driving back from the city defeat 5th Dec. I wonder when he was up in the magistrates dock? Could correlate with his downturn in form around the cup semi final

Did anyone notice that Leo Hjelde was playing for Sunderland in the playoffs last night?

Leo is son of former Forest defender Jon Olav Hjelde, and was actually born in Nottingham.

Weirdly as I was watching the game it reminded me of a goal that Jon scored against Sunderland many years ago albeit can’t quite remember which season it was.

Think i went down a little wormhole earlier in the season when Sunderland were flying and I caught one of their matches on sky. Jon played for Mansfield before returning to Norway, i think thats why he was born in UK from memory

MGW and Wood are among the nominees for EAFC Premier League player of the season.

Nice recognition for them both but I imagine Salah will win.

Not sure how the nominations are decided but personally I'd have said Milenkovic and Sels are more deserving of being nominated than MGW. No issue with Wood though - he deserves it and has had an incredible season.

Agree tbh. Up until last game think MGW and Milenkovic had same number of goals.

Also, this is nice, as posted by Henry Winter:

Before #ENGSEN kickoff at the City Ground, legacy cap presentations will be made to 10 former players to have represented England while playing for #NFFC or family representatives, says
@FA
. These are:

-The family of Fred and Frank Forman
-Frank Wignall
-Ian Storey-Moore
-The family of Larry Lloyd
-The family of Trevor Francis
-Garry Birtles
-Steve Hodge
-Neil Webb
-Colin Cooper
-Steve Stone

FA adds that Forest’s Forza Garibaldi fan group are due to unveil a pre-match tifo in tribute to Viv Anderson, the former Forest player recognised as the first black player to represent England.
