We can’t take one point from three home games in the run in and point to other results.
We can quite easily. The odds of all the results including ours going this way from the point of us beating Man City were so unlikely as a combination.
If course it matters what other teams do, it's a hard league.
It’s irrelevant what others do if we don’t get points ourselves.
I mean it's not. If no-one else had got points we'd have already had enough and our results wouldn't have mattered. It's like you're discounting the points we got earlier on in the season.

But they did get points.
We’re not dealing with theories here.
No point hiding from reality or trying to mask the facts.

Not sure if that’s true.
Surely each result impacts the next. And each result impacts the teams throughout the league.
We’ve been poor since the start of April. But we might have got away with it if everyone else had been poor too. The problem is everyone around us has been as brilliant as we’ve been poor.
So each of their results and their improvement is surely relevant.

Well done Palace.
You can see what it means to their fans. We had a debate on here whether winning the Cup would be better than CL qualification (OK I know likely we get neither) but you can’t tell me that finishing 5th would beat the elation Palace are enjoying tonight.

This is quite apt

…as is our deterioration.
You can’t include one but not the other.

We managed to get too two semi finals and a QF in the past 3 years.
Maybe just maybe next year could be our year.

Yep.
And Vlachodimos got one for the EFL cup. You couldn’t make it up.

Sweet Jesus, that’s incredible makes me believe that I could still win one, one day.
